Isn’t the DM essentially SM’s boss? And deleting the DM’s emails to all of you informing you that all stores in the district would be closed on Monday? Crazy stuff. Did SM even have the authority to pay anyone if the store was supposed to be closed? I’m guessing that SM has a set salary while everyone else gets paid by the hour and that issue didn’t affect SM getting paid for Monday? But what on earth was her motivation for opening the store on Monday? Even if SM is desperate to get the store’s revenue numbers up, did she really think customers would come in on Monday? I hope you are able to move on to a better job soon.
