Wicked: For Good - Honestly I didn't really care for it. The two new songs were very obviously new and weren't that good IMHO (I had only listened to the Broadway soundtrack and not seen the show, so I knew most of the songs). The story was a little more chaotic and some things didn't make sense. I feel like I've forgotten a lot of what I didn't like or had issues with (I saw it December 1st) but overall I just wasn't a fan. I'm not surprised at all that it didn't get any (many?) Oscar nods. It wasn't nearly as good as the first one.

go for the money grab and make it two films instead (and I will not be surprised if they turn it into a franchise and make more Wicked films. That end scene just screamed “more is coming”). They were very successful on the money grab but not as successful at making two great films. I enjoyed them both enough but would have preferred one really good film. It would have had to be long though so that probably came into their decision because many people won’t go to see a long movie (over 2 hours). They could have built in a 15 minute intermission though like the Broadway show has. For context, I read and liked the novel Wicked is based on but I have not seen the Broadway show, mainly because I don’t want to pay big bucks for bad seats. The movies have only made the Broadway musical a hotter, expensive ticket. Maybe some day when it’s finally winding down. The movies did not make me want to pay big bucks to see the Broadway show.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery - Really liked this one! I love the Knives Out series. Mr. Kris and I actually sat down and watched a movie together and we both liked it. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed Wake Up Dead Man too. The whole Knives Out series is fun. I’ve liked all three of them.
