I enjoyed Heretic a lot, mainly because of Hugh Grant's performance.
I didn’t love it but I’m not sorry I watched it. It was entertaining enough. I’m not a big Hugh Grant fan (kind of resistant to him actually) but he was fine.
I fell asleep during the first half of Wake Up Dead Man, but the second half was a bit better. Glass Onion has been the only Knives Out I've loved. But Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc is always worth watching.
I love this whole series of Knives Out movies including this one. And I’m sometimes a little resistant to movie franchises (although there are some I love). The KO movies are just so fun. I love Daniel Craig as Blanc. I love him in most films. He might be my favorite James Bond (though it’s close between DC and Sean Connery). Did you see Daniel Craig in Queer (2024). He was great in that film too. He played a fictionalized version of William S Burroughs.
Roofman was okay, good for a one time watch and I'm glad I saw it. But it isn't one I'd see again.
Agreed. I’m not sorry I saw it but don’t want to see it again. Kirsten Dunst is always good.
Weapons is the closest to a Stephen King novel without being a Stephen King novel I've seen, the way they set up the town and pacing. Amy Madigan was great. It's a bit overhyped, but I liked it well enough.
I feel like this movie, including Amy Madigan, was very overhyped. I was disappointed. It did not live up to the hype for me (always a risk with hype).
I still have yet to see Jay Kelly, but I'm watching it eventually for Laura Dern.
I loved this one. George Clooney, Adam Sandler and Laura Dern are all very good. In general, I like Noah Baumbach as a filmmaker.
