It was my favorite scene of Sinners and they did an amazing job of recreating that scene live. I Lied to You should have won Best Song. Miles Caton, BTW, is from. Brooklyn. That ballerina at the end was Misty Copeland (looking at you Timmy Chalamet) the first African American principal dancer at American Ballet Theatre who, BTW, had hip replacement surgery in December 2025, just a few months before the Oscars.

I could watch that scene from Sinners over and over, alternating with the live performance at the Oscars.
