The car was old but in good shape without too much mileage on it because for the last 20 years of her life, she only drove around town (to the pharmacy, grocery store, church, etc). Any further and a friend drove. And for the last few years, she stopped driving completely. It’s not easy taking the keys away from a parent but we had to do it. She drove until she was 96. 😳😱. It’s hard living in central Florida without a car. I hope mom’s car helped this family out until they could get a newer car.
