telling me about their closets, multiple, full of clothes that still have the tags on them. Big Thursday Spender isn't even the only Big Spender we have that comes in every time we get new items and buys anywhere from 10-30 items (almost always clothes--we don't have anyone buying 10-30 pieces of jewelry in one transaction). I'm not sure what Big Thursday Spender is doing with all her clothes (it's gotten so bad, she relies on B and the customer book--an app we have that keeps track of customers' purchases--to tell HER what she has in her closets) but I do know several other Big Spenders usually pass their (VERY) gently used items on to other family members or donate them.
One of our other Big Spenders is my size and we have very similar taste. I keep hoping she'll bring in the items she's tired of so I could take them home <g>. NOT that I need any more clothes at this point...
My one co-worker "M" (85 year old firecracker) is DEFINITELY addicted to shopping. She buys 1-2 pieces almost every time she works; she usually works 3 shifts a week. She's always telling me she's "addicted" to shopping. I feel a little...gross, ringing up her purchases after she'd spent part of the shift telling me how poor she is.
