The downside is you don’t have much time for planning ahead. Each day’s lottery is for the next day’s performances. But yay for getting $200 tix for $49. Being retired and living in the city gives me the flexibility to take advantage of this. When I was working, my time wasn’t as fluid as it is now. NYC is a great place to be retired as long as you have affordable housing. There is a never ending supply of fun things to do and it’s kinda fun to find good discounts like this.
