walk in especially on stairs especially after drinking margaritas. Maxis are a little too easy to trip on while moving around. I own my share of maxis but I prefer to wear them in situations where I don’t have to walk much. Hanging out on the beach house porch is relatively safe in a maxi.

In a related issue, regardless of what length my skirt is, I do love going bare legged. I cannot remember the last time I wore stockings. Decades ago. I will occasionally wear tights in the winter.
