Looks like bad news continues to pour into Genoa City. At least Paul is out of jail - for now. The even worse news, of course, is that JFP will be taking over at Y&R in September, and appears to already be stacking the cast with her favorites from other shows. If you have had an opportunity to check out HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS on Nick At Nite, you already know that you have probably seen high school plays which are more professional! If Hollywood Heights represents the future of Young and Restless, we will soon have difficulty recognizing the show at all. In the meantime, Direct TV has finally posted their on-screen episode guides for next week. Soaps.com has had a detailed recap of Monday's episode posted for several hours now. Following is a brief synopsis of Monday's action.

Y&R -- Nick tries to break up a fight between Nikki and Sharon. Lauren has a plan for helping Paul.

At Glow Worm, Nick nurses drinks while ignoring a call from Phyllis. At Phyllis's apartment, Phyllis is annoyed when Summer arrives and begins asking about Nick. After Phyllis explains that Nick is NOT answering his phone, Summer makes plans to call Avery and is astonished when Phyllis declares that Avery is no longer serving as Phyllis's attorney.

Lauren meets Michael at the police department. Lauren is concerned when she learns that Christine returned to Washington. However, Michael quickly explains that Avery is no longer representing Phyllis and has become Paul's attorney. Lauren becomes apprehensive when she learns that Paul plans to plead guilty and that Eden did not actually remember much about her encounter with Ricky on the day when Ricky died.

At the same time, Avery meets with Paul and brings Paul up to speed on Eden's session with the psychiatrist. When Paul reminds Avery that Eden still has not remembered anything specific about her encounter with Ricky, Avery points out that, because Eden was terrified by the mention of Ricky's name, that would indicate that Eden felt threatened. Avery also presents a statement from Melissa Townsend, Rachel's friend, which outlines Melissa's reasons for believing that Ricky was responsible for Rachel's death. Avery points out that Melissa's statement could support Paul's story that Ricky admitted that he killed Craig Hunt. Avery reminds Paul that they also have surveillance video which shows Ricky dumping Daisy's wallet and cell phone in the trash. Avery explains that all of those details could convince the court to reduce the charges against Paul, and that she has already put in a request for a hearing. Avery warns Paul that, before she goes before a judge, she needs to know that Paul has given up his intention to plead guilty. Paul reminds Avery that he only agreed to reconsider the guilty plea IF Eden remembered something about the events leading up to Ricky's death - and Eden clearly has NOT remembered anything about those events. Avery tries to convince Paul that Paul should allow Avery to use the documentation which she has collected so far in order to get the charges against Paul reduced, and make it possible for Paul to get out on bail so that Paul can help Avery track down more evidence.

At the same time, in the squad room, Michael panics when Lauren insists that Lauren SHOULD come forward now and admit that the gun which Paul used when Paul shot Ricky was a gun which Lauren had purchased illegally and Paul convinced Lauren to turn the gun over to Paul to make sure that Lauren did not engage in a violent encounter with Daisy. Michael continues to remind Lauren that she could end up in jail if she admits that she purchased an illegal gun while she was still on probation. Michael and Lauren are interrupted when Avery arrives and declares that she has persuaded Paul to allow Avery to try to convince the judge to grant bail in Paul's case. Michael is curious when Avery declares that she will be able to present new evidence that Paul's actions were NOT pre-meditated. Michael warns Avery that he will not be making this easy for her - but Avery reminds Michael that she will be seeing him at the hearing - and rushes away.

When Daniel and Heather meet at the used book store, their encounter turns romantic. Daniel puts on the brakes and suggests that they change direction and head out to pick up some dinner. Heather agrees.

At Abbott Mansion, Sarge listens in as Jack makes plans for a romantic honeymoon with Nikki. However, when Jack admits that Nikki does not know about Jack's plans because Jack plans to surprise her, Sarge warns Jack that making plans without Nikki's input COULD end up backfiring on him. Jack reassures Sarge that everything will go perfectly.

At the same time, at the Ranch, Sharon is apprehensive when she realizes that Nikki has walked in while Sharon is burning Victor's pre-nuptial agreement in the fireplace. When Nikki demands to know what Sharon is burning, Sharon claims that she was just stoking the fire. Sharon orders Nikki to leave, but Nikki spots Victor's briefcase on the coffee table. When Nikki examines the briefcase, Nikki realizes that the locks on the briefcase have been broken. Nikki immediately demands to know if Sharon took some papers out of Victor's briefcase and burned them in the fireplace. Sharon denies Nikki's accusation, but Nikki begins grabbing papers out of the briefcase, declaring that she is determined to prevent Sharon from destroying any more of Victor's private business papers. As Nikki and Sharon begin to argue about Victor's character, Sharon prepares to show the text message which she received from Victor to Nikki. Sharon is stunned when Nikki declares that she has already seen the text message. When Sharon quizzes Nikki about the text message, Nikki reluctantly admits that it was NIKKI who sent that text message to Sharon.

At Phyllis's apartment, Phyllis becomes unnerved when Summer points out that Phyllis must have made another foolish mistake if both Nick AND Avery have bailed on her. When Phyllis insists that she did NOT do anything to drive Nick and Avery away, Summer declares that she does not really believe her mother's statement. When Summer continues quizzing Phyllis about Phyllis's relationships with Nick and Avery, Phyllis explodes and begins to yell at Summer, ordering Summer to shut up. When Phyllis realizes that Summer is stunned by her outburst, Phyllis rushes forward and begins to apologize to Summer. When Summer admits that she is worried about losing Phyllis, Phyllis reassures her that she is not going anywhere.

While Nick is still drinking at Glow Worm, he receives a call from one of the guards at the Ranch, who reports that Nikki arrived at the Ranch and went up to the main house, and now the guards can hear raised voices coming from the main house.

While Heather and Daniel are waiting for dinner at Glow Worm, Heather receives a text message which alerts her to the fact that Avery arranged for a new bail hearing for Paul.

Meanwhile, at the police station, Paul, Avery and Nina are pleased when they learn that Paul HAS been granted bail, but the amount is still set at half a million dollars. As they wonder how they will raise that much money, Michael and Lauren arrive. Lauren explains that she has already posted bail for Paul - but had one of her employees post the bail anonymously. Paul, Avery and Nina decide to go out to celebrate.

At the Ranch, Sharon accuses Nikki of being desperate to hang on to Victor after Nikki admits that it was Nikki who sent the text message to Sharon, declaring that Victor and Sharon's marriage is already over. Sharon declares that she feels sorry for Jack - because Jack seems to actually believe that Nikki loves him. Nikki coldly assures Sharon that Jack understands Niki's concern about Victor. Nikki suggests that, perhaps, Victor is missing because of something which Sharon did. When Sharon tries to take Victor's papers out of Nikki's hands, Nikki and Sharon end up in a tug of war. Nick arrives in time to break up the fight. When Sharon accuses Nikki of breaking in and attacking her, Nikki declares that she came to tell Sharon that she found Victor's cell phone. Sharon blurts out that Nikki used Victor's cell phone to send a message to Sharon, declaring that their marriage was over. Nikki brandishes the empty briefcase and reports to Nick that she found the lock on Victor's briefcase broken - at the same time that Sharon was burning papers in the fireplace. Sharon suggests that Nikki needs to return home to her own husband - and leave Sharon's love-life alone. Before Sharon and Nikki end up in another tug of war, Nick reminds them that they have already spent time in jail for fighting with one another. Nick lectures Nikki about sending the fake text message from Victor's phone to Sharon. When Nikki wonders if something could have happened to Victor, Nick suggests that Victor might have deliberately left the phone behind so that no one could track him down. However, Nick discovers that the phone is Victor's private business phone - where Victor keeps a lot of confidential information about business. Nick convinces Nikki to take the phone to the police, and promises to speak to Sharon. Before she leaves, Nikki confides to Nick that she believes that Sharon is hiding something. After Nikki leaves, Nick investigates the burned papers in the fireplace. When Sharon returns downstairs, Nick asks her what she was burning in the fireplace.

At Abbott Mansion, Sarge helps Jack practice walking. Once again, Sarge reminds Jack that he might be rushing things, especially since Jack is making honeymoon plans without discussing his plans with Nikki.

While Heather and Daniel are enjoying dinner at Glow Worm, Paul, Avery and Nina arrive and Avery fills Heather and Daniel in on the good news that Paul is out on bail. While they are all chatting, Phyllis arrives. After they decide to celebrate Paul's good news with champagne, Daniel heads up to the bar to place their order. However, while Nina, Heather, Avery and Paul are chatting, Paul declares that he really doesn't believe that it is proper for them to be celebrating with champagne. When Avery hurries up to the bar to inform Daniel that there has been a change of plans, Daniel asks Avery how she came to be representing BOTH Paul AND Phyllis. Avery reluctantly explains that she is no longer representing Phyllis.

Across the room, Phyllis keeps making phone calls to Nick - and begs Nick to return her call as soon as possible. After Phyllis hangs up, she realizes that Michael and Lauren have arrived. When Michael tries to remind Phyllis that Michael and Lauren actually ARE her friends, Phyllis snaps that Michael's opinion is pretty hard for her to believe. After Michael leaves, Heather approaches Daniel and is surprised when Daniel points out that he didn't know that Avery had dropped Phyllis as a client - and had taken Paul's case instead. While they are chatting, Phyllis interrupts. After Heather returns to her table, Phyllis demands to know if Daniel is involved in a serious relationship with Heather. When Daniel hesitates with his answer, Phyllis begins to loudly lecture Daniel about keeping company with a woman who would be able to send Phyllis to jail for a very long time. As Phyllis becomes even louder, Avery interrupts and advises Phyllis NOT to take her anger out on Daniel. After Daniel heads back to his table, Avery tries to advise Phyllis NOT to make a public spectacle of herself. When Phyllis reminds Avery that Avery is no longer Phyllis's lawyer, Avery reminds Phyllis that, while everyone was trying to help her, Phyllis just kept lying to everyone and trashed her own life. Phyllis proclaims loudly that she is just trying to protect her family, then storms away. When Avery heads back to her table, Heather announces to everyone that she believes that she should head home. As Heather heads for the door, Daniel goes after her and tries to convince Heather that they can still be friends in spite of his mother's outburst. After Heather leaves the building, Daniel goes after her and kisses her. But Heather just turns and runs away.

Inside Glow Worm, Lauren finds a few moments to speak to Paul - alone. Paul thanks Lauren for helping out with the bail money. Lauren admits to Paul that Michael KNOWS that Paul was carrying Lauren's illegal gun when Paul shot Ricky, but that Michael believes that Lauren should say nothing about the gun. Paul assures Lauren that she should follow Michael's advice. At the same time, Michael chats with Avery about her confrontation with Phyllis. Avery assures Michael that Phyllis is no longer her problem.

When Phyllis returns home, she discovers a note from Summer, telling Phyllis that Summer will be spending the night with her friend, Stella.

At Abbott Mansion, just as Sarge and Jack finish up Jack's therapy session, Nikki returns home. When Jack begins explaining the marvelous honeymoon trip which he has lined up, Nikki tells Jack that she can't leave, because she needs to stay in Genoa City in order to focus on helping authorities find Victor. As Nikki insists that she MUST find Victor - Jack points out that there are already plenty of people searching for Victor - and that Nikki can not really help much by passing up their honeymoon. But Nikki continues to insist that she MUST stay home in order to help out in case something serious has happened to Victor. When Jack declares that he believes that they can NOT begin their married life by letting themselves become focused on Victor's latest problems - Nikki insists that she could not go out of town while Victor might be in serious trouble. Nikki rushes out of the room and heads upstairs.

At the Ranch, Nick continues to quiz Sharon about the papers which Sharon burned in the fireplace, and the broken locks on Victor's briefcase. Nick is skeptical when Sharon reports that she was just roasting marshmallows with Faith, because Faith loves s'mores. However, Nick suggests that it was not likely that Sharon found any chocolate in Victor's broken briefcase. When Nick points out that Avery came searching for the pre-nup and couldn't find it, Sharon insists that she doesn't know anything about a pre-nup. When Nick asks if Faith would back up Sharon's story if Nick asked Faith if they were roasting marshmallows, Sharon changes her story and claims that, when Sharon received the fraudulent text message which Nikki sent from Victor's phone, Sharon was really angry with Victor - so she burned some letters which Victor sent to her while he was in prison. Nick warns Sharon that Victor WILL return eventually, and IF that was the pre-nup which Sharon burned in the fireplace, then Sharon really IS playing with fire.

At Abbott Mansion, Jack is surprised when Nikki comes downstairs, carrying a packed bag. Nikki tells Jack that, when she returns, they can be together and that they have their whole lives in front of them. Nikki insists that they will be able to work things out when she returns. Jack warns Nikki that, IF she goes now, Jack will NOT be waiting for her when she comes back. In spite of Jack's warning, Nikki grabs her bag and sadly walks out the door.

Y&R -- Nick tries to pressure Victoria to return to Newman. Nick tells Victoria that he believes that Sharon burned her pre-nuptial agreement. Kevin approaches Phyllis with a proposition. Michael confides to Lauren that Michael believes that, when Dr. Tim Reid is forced to testify, he will end up incriminating Phyllis. Billy tries to convince Tim to help Billy dig up dirt on Phyllis -- MICHAEL MCLAFFERTY appears as "Man." ANGELL CONWELL returns as Attorney LESLIE MICHAELSON, beginning AUGUST 14.

Nikki decides to head out to search for Victor in spite of Jack's warning. Sharon joins forces with Tucker to take over Newman Enterprises. Phyllis plays a dangerous game with Dr. Tim. Billy remains determined to unearth the secrets which Phyllis and Dr. Tim Reid have been keeping buried. When Billy tries to convince Dr. Tim to spill all to Billy, Dr. Tim dodges Billy's questions. Avery has a new plan, which she believes will help Paul. When Nick asks Victoria for a special favor, Victoria informs Nick that Phyllis has already asked Victoria to get Billy to back away from digging up the facts about Phyllis and Dr, Tim Reid - and Victoria has already turned down Phyllis's request. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2012 -- SUMMARY OF THE WEEK'S EVENTS
Y&R -- After Victor meets Sister Celeste at her waterfront mission, Victor searches his soul for answers as he becomes involved in the mission's community. Genevieve gets drawn into Victor's drama. When Victor decides to settle old scores and returns to Genoa City, Victor's return creates new emotional conflicts. -- GRAHAM SHIELS will debut in a recurring role which will focus on Victor and Genevieve, beginning SEPTEMBER 10. SHIELS previously appeared as CODY PAUL on ABC's spin-off, GENERAL HOSPITAL, NIGHT SHIFT. JILL FARREN PHELPS, who will soon be taking over the helm at Y&R, was one of the executives responsible for Night Shift.

MORE VERY BAD NEWS?!
Y&R -- Although both YVONNE ZIMMA and PETER PORTE appear to be gone for now as Daisy and Ricky - the BAD news is that the ramifications of their little dust-up is scheduled to drag out for the REST of the summer. Apparently, YVONNE ZIMMA has RETURNED to YOUNG AND RESTLESS and has been taping scenes there. While these COULD be flashbacks, there is also a possibility that Daisy will turn up, alive and kicking. There IS the fact that Daisy DID figure out that Phyllis was the one responsible for running over Paul and Christine back in 1994, PLUS the fact that Daisy DID say that she had stashed copies of the documents which Daisy had uncovered which connected Phyllis to Christine and Paul's hit and run accident - in a "safe place."

HAS GOOD NEWS TURNED INTO BAD NEWS?
Y&R -- Although there have been reports that TIIC finally noticed that a majority of the audience is outraged about the prospect of TIIC trying to turn VICTOR and SHARON into a romantic duo - and that TIIC had decided to scrap the entire idea - it now appears that TIIC have done ANOTHER 180 degree turn - and the relationship between Victor and Sharon will now move along toward ANOTHER marriage for the hapless duo. However, there are STILL REPORTS that the next obstacle which SHARON must face will be a scare about a brain tumor. Some are hoping that this will, in some way, give an explanation for Sharon's erratic behavior over the past couple of years. There have also been reports that ERIC BRAEDEN'S contract negotiations are NOT going well and IF Braeden can NOT come to an amicable agreement with SONY, Braeden will be leaving Genoa City on a more or less permanent basis, beginning in AUGUST. However, BRAEDEN'S publicist says that there are NO contract negotiations currently underway - but that BRAEDEN will take a long-scheduled vacation in August instead. MELODY THOMAS SCOTT will also be on vacation during that same time period - so both VICTOR and NIKKI will be scarce during that time period.

BABY ON BOARD?
Y&R -- There have been reports that a former Genoa City trouble maker will be headed back to Genoa City - with a baby in tow. Some are speculating that ADAM'S old girlfriend, SKYE, may be headed back to town with the news that she survived falling into a volcano, and now has a child. Other possibilities include DIANE, Patty and/or EMILY. Since ADRIENNE FRANZ has been put on recurring status at BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL, there is also a possibility that AMBER might be headed back to Genoa City - now that DANIEL is beginning to take his responsibilities as LUCY'S father seriously. There is also KEVIN'S former wife, JANA. Remember, when Kevin went to make arrangements for Jana's memorial service, Kevin was astonished when he discovered that some of Jana's distant relatives had ALREADY claimed the body!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, 2012 -- SUMMARY OF THE MONTH'S EVENTS
Y&R -- The Good News is that Maria A. Bell has reportedly been let go in a SURPRISE move by SONY. Unfortunately, the very, very, very bad, DISASTROUS news is that JILL FARREN PHELPS will be taking BELL'S place! Having watched the way in which JFP single-handedly destroyed both OLTL and GH - we can only observe that it appears that SONY is merely jumping from the frying pan and into the fire with this move. Of course, another possibility is that SONY has decided that the time has come for SONY to get out of the SOAP business - and head honchos believe that JFP will be able to drive away enough viewers so that SONY can cancel Y&R without worrying too much about an embarrassing backlash from viewers -- Early reports are that JFP will most likely immediately fire Genie Francis, Stephen Nichols, Darnell Williams, Julia Pace Mitchell and Debbie Morgan. Veteran performers who will be immediately hustled off to the back burner will be Doug Davidson, Peter Bergman, Tracey Bregman, Melody Thomas Scott, Eric Braeden and Jeanne Cooper. Viewers will most likely begin seeing more of Lily and Cane and Phyllis.

There are now reports that the plans for JESS WALTON and TRISTAN ROGERS to return in SEPTEMBER as JILL and COLIN may be scrapped.

Reportedly - ALL of the TRUE FACTS about the part which PHYLLIS played in mowing PAUL and CHRISTINE down with a car will NOT be revealed until early FALL - when CHRISTINE returns to town again. Also - REMEMBER THAT, when Ricky discovered that Daisy had spotted the video of RACHEL'S DEATH on Ricky's computer, Ricky FIRST deleted the file - then made plans to "connect" with Daisy. Although technology DOES exist which makes it possible to recover deleted files from a computer, only time will tell whether or not anyone at the Genoa City Police Department will have enough presence of mind to suggest that they check out the deleted files on RICKY'S computer! -- NINA learns that her sons, RONAN and CHANCE, may be making a return visit to Genoa City. ASHLEY faces a heart-wrenching decision about her relationship with TUCKER. Ashley decides to leave Genoa City. VICTOR'S intimate relationship with SHARON ends, but the duo discover that they must deal with the lingering damage which their brief romance has left behind. TUCKER tries his best to carry on while he awaits news about ASHLEY'S decision. SARGE'S relationship with HARMONY takes an unexpected turn. The NEWMAN family makes plans to celebrate. PHYLLIS must deal with the haunting memories of her attempt to kill CHRISTINE and PAUL by hitting them with a rented car. NICK'S relationship with PHYLLIS hits a major obstacle when Phyllis discovers that she MUST deal with her past. DANIEL'S current circumstances are emotionally impacted by the long-ago relationship between DANNY and PHYLLIS. LAUREN worries that MICHAEL'S decision to accept the DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S position will push their family into an unwelcome public spotlight. LILY remains supportive as CANE begins to work to deal with the impact which his long-ago family history has made on his new-found life in Genoa City. GENEVIEVE makes a surprising decision when she realizes that she is the one person who can help CANE put his current family obligations back on an even keel. VICTORIA and SHARON find themselves at odds because of some vitally important family issues. VICTOR'S trust in SHARON is shaken by VICTORIA'S attack. KEVIN finds himself leaning in the direction of becoming involved in another illegal enterprise. SARGE and JACK solidify their friendship, while Jack continues to make steady progress with his physical therapy. JACK is elated at the prospect of becoming the owner of BEAUTY OF NATURE. At the same time, VICTOR remains determined to pull every dirty trick in the book in order to block Jack's acquisition of Beauty of Nature. FEN is surprised when he realizes that he has romantic feelings for SUMMER. In the meantime, FEN continues to have problems, adjusting to life in Genoa City, following his time away at boarding school. Other residents of Genoa City are unnerved when they begin to learn about COLIN'S change of circumstances. JILL'S family and friends are stunned when they learn about Jill's activities during Jill's long absence from Genoa City. -- Victor is unnerved when it begins to look like Jack will win BEAUTY of NATURE, as well as NIKKI'S heart! Tucker remains determined to reunite with Ashley. Nick's reconciliation with Phyllis runs in to obstacles when Ricky begins to capitalize on some of the dirt which Ricky has dug up from Phyllis's past. GENEVIEVE may need to make a tough decision, for Cane's sake. CHELSEA'S continued presence in Genoa City leaves BILLY and VICTORIA on edge. Chelsea continues to enjoy support from ADAM. EILEEN DAVIDSON is reportedly on the way out, so be expecting ASHLEY to exit Genoa City sooner - rather than later. DAYS fans are thrilled about the news that DAVIDSON will be returning to DAYS as KRISTEN DIMERA on OCTOBER 11. KRISTEN DIMERA is the adopted daughter of STEFANO DIMERA. Kristen was presumed dead after a body matching her description was found floating in a pool. However, KRISTEN was actually left on a desert island after being sold to a harem. KRISTEN'S look-alike - SUSAN BANKS - is the presumed mother of E.J. DIMERA. E.J. was recently devastated when he was informed that Stefano DiMera was NOT his biological father. There is no word yet as to whether or not SUSAN BANKS will also be paying a visit to Salem! -- KEVIN will get pulled in to another illegal escapade. ANITA and CHELSEA will continue to create complications for GLORIA and JEFFREY. JESS WALTON will be taking a six-month leave of absence in order to assist a family member who is expecting a child. JILL will return in SEPTEMBER, with COLIN in tow! -- TRISTAN ROGERS made a brief return as COLIN ATKINSON during May. ROGERS' appearance, in May, was brief, but will pave the way for a longer return down the road. Genoa City will be stunned when JILL returns to town in SEPTEMBER, with COLIN in tow! It will be revealed that, while she has been away, JILL has been spending time with COLIN in AUSTRALIA! -- LAURALEE BELL returned as Cricket on THURSDAY, MAY 17. MICHAEL DAMIAN returned as Danny on FRIDAY, MAY 18. Cricket and Danny have not been together in Genoa City since about 2004. Word is that a cold case is about to be re-opened. Years ago, PHYLLIS attempted to kill Cricket with a hit-and-run. No one ever discovered the culprit behind that devastating event and Phyllis has, supposedly, become a model citizen in the meantime. The question becoming, will Phyllis continue to be able to elude the long arms of the law? Or has her luck run out? -- Y&R has a casting call out for a "clean-cut, all American good guy" - who is currently being called "Max." -- BLAKE HOOD has been cast as KYLE ABBOT - the Suddenly Aged son of JACK ABBOTT and DIANE JENKINS. BLAKE is best known for his role as MARK DRISCOLL in 90210. HOOD brought KYLE back to Genoa City on APRIL 27! -- JESS WALTON has signed a new contract, and will be remaining with Y&R as JILL. -- There has been some speculation that BRADFORD ANDERSON, who currently appears as SPINELLI on GENERAL HOSPITAL, may be headed to GENOA CITY, once Spinelli exits PORT CHARLES. -- NIKKI is bent out of shape when VICTOR decides to try to charm GENEVIEVE into seeing things Victor's way where Beauty of Nature is concerned. As JACK works to regain his health, NIKKI reaches out to help Jack. Nikki walks away from VICTOR after Nikki learns disturbing details about Victor's involvement with newcomers CHELSEA and ANITA. When KYLE returns to Genoa City, Kyle hits the roof when he learns about his father's intimate relationship with Nikki, the woman responsible for the death of Kyle's mother, DIANE. Victor decides to use Kyle's anger for Victor's advantage. Victor attempts to use Kyle to drive a wedge between Jack and Nikki. -- CANE and LILY took another trip down the aisle during festivities in France on FEBRUARY 14. However, Cane and Lily's renewed romance COULD be headed for a messy detour. There has been speculation that it will soon be revealed that CANE'S supposedly deceased sister, SAMANTHA, is actually alive and well. Cane's father, COLIN, will make a brief appearance, which will reveal that Colin's personal circumstances have changed. In SEPTEMBER, when JILL returns to Genoa City, following a prolonged absence, she will bring COLIN back with her. It will be revealed that Jill has been in Australia, renewing her connection with Colin, while she has been away. In the meantime, CANE will become involved with new drama being created by his mother, GENEVIEVE. -- ASHLEY is stunned when she learns about TUCKER'S past relationship with GENEVIEVE. While Ashley faces some tough choices about her marriage, TUCKER pulls out all the stops to convince Ashley that they CAN have a stellar future in front of them! -- Although SEAN KANAN is currently off screen as Deacon, there WERE plans for Deacon to return in the spring. HOWEVER, Sean Kanan will spend some time, cooking up mischief on BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL before returning to Genoa City. However, word is that KANAN has already wrapped up his involvement with BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL - so it is quite possible that DEACON will soon be making a return visit to GENOA CITY! -- While NICK and PHYLLIS move in the direction of reconciliation, Phyllis will continue to be haunted by her past. AVERY and Phyllis will make sporadic attempts to reconnect, but will continue to run into obstacles. Phyllis and Nick contemplate the possibility that Phyllis might be pregnant. There is a BIG surprise ahead for Nick and Phyllis - which will have a major impact on their lives. -- In the meantime, SHARON will continue to make attempts to get her life in order, but will continue discovering that it is almost impossible to break old habits. As Sharon continues to fret about the possibility that ADAM has moved on by establishing a new relationship with CHELSEA, Sharon turns to a new man - Victor. Sharon's friends and families will consider the new man in SHARON'S life to be a shocking choice. -- There are now reports that Y&R honchos have worked out an amicable agreement with BILLY MILLER - and MILLER WILL be remaining in the cast at YOUNG and RESTLESS. However, MILLER will be given ample opportunities to have enough time away from the show to be able to pursue other opportunities. -- There have been whispers that NADIA BJORLIN - who has appeared as Chloe on Days - has been cast in the role of MICHAEL'S sister, from New Orleans. While there WERE also reports that BJORLIN would be returning to DAYS as CHLOE - the latest reports are that negotiations between BJORLIN and DAYS have broken down - so that deal appears to be off the table for the time being. -- JEFF BRANSON returned as RONAN MALLOY, beginning TUESDAY, JUNE 26.
