Apparently, even TV Guide is now confirming that Burton is OUT at General Hospital.
I personally believe that Maurice Bernard will likewise decide that he is not interested in hanging on to a sinking ship until it hits rock bottom.
What I have heard is that Burton has just purchased a new home in Tennessee because he doesn't want his children to grow up around the Hollywood atmosphere - so I would laugh if JFP got down on bended knee and begged him to come to Y&R and he still said no.
However, Maurice Bernard would not have the same aversion to remaining in Hollywood, and if JFP begged him to bring Sonny's criminal empire to Genoa City, he most likely would say yes.
So - here it comes -
