First the idea that Victor Newman disappears and no one can find him except for Billy (who has decided not to inform Victor's family) and Gevevieve. The US is a big country but this is not 1812 or 1912 surely people have heard of Victor Newman. It would be like if Donald Trump, Warren buffett, or Bill Gates were to just disappear. You can bet people would be searching.
And we are supposed to buy that no no one in LA has never heard of Victor Newman or seen his picture or on the news.
And as for Sharon, in what reality would she be able to just walk into a board meeting and assume the role of CEO of a major multi billion dollar company. She sould have been excorted out of the building. Further, with her husband's disappearance, she would be busy proving to the police that she had nothing do to with it.
And finally Billy's motivation makes no sense. There is no reason for him not to informa Victoria, Nicholas, or Abby as to where their father is. Victoria will not forgive him for this. Its not like he did not have plenty of opportunity to inform Victor's family of his whereabouts.
