What the hell is Jill Phelps doing? Firing great actress's, no surprise there. It was just a matter of time before she ran off Genie Francis, or Genie went running. Ether way these two have no love lost for one another. No surprise ether on letting go of Debbi Morgan who has had no story for quite some time. Her last tape date is Oct 5th. What a waste of talent. But the biggest surprise was Marcy Rylan's firing. Really Jill? This girl has ties to 2 core families. One insider mentioned that this was a huge shock to the cast and crew, let alone to Marcy. No word on her last tape or air date. This just proves that there are going to be a lot of surprises with these budget cuts.....On his twitter Michael Muhney tweeted "Tomorrow people close to me will either be talking me into, or out of, playing the lead in a new show, it's a phenomenal pilot for primetime. Phenomenal. And yes, I'd have to leave Y&R." I say go for it Michael you don't want to stay in daytime all of your career and if the pilot falls you can always come back if you want to........Julia Pace Mitchell has been dropped to recurring, it's just a matter of time before she is let go IMO. CBS has not confirmed, but Julia did and even mentioned she didn't mind....I hear the vibes at Y&R are not very good and everyone is walking on egg shells. Can you blame them?.....A reunion for Nikki and Victor will be coming at the end of the month when it is revealed Victor is alive and well. Are you surprised? Didn't think so. This is how the show will be celebrating it's 10,000th show. Oy Vey!!! I gotta say the money they have spent on all of Victor's funerals could have fed a small village. At the at the Paley event Nikki/Victor was brought up by Jeanne Cooper who said that Nikki was so stupid for going back to Victor and MTS who was there laughed and agreed.
