Actually, the ending of the Phick relationship has been done by JFP and JG, the new regime. According to reports, MAB did NOT want to break up Nick and Phyllis, and is very upset about the fact that the case ended with her going free, that Sharon burned down the ranch house, that Phick is no longer a couple and posted on her FB page that this is "all the new guys," not her writings, even though her name is still being listed in the credits for the show. She is quite upset by it all, but to be honest, I'd rather have had that stupid storyline over with, because it was total nonsense as it was. The judge was right ... it's been 20 years, Christine was NOT a "federal agent" at the time, and it's about time we get back to Wisconsin laws on this show!
