LOL, probably because Tucker figures Victor will be the winner in the end. Especially, since he is going to sell him, some of his NE shares. Kudos to SN, who gave an outstanding performance today. I enjoyed his Tucker scenes with Adam/Devon. I wish, we weren't losing SN on the show.
Sony recap here
I am glad they showed Tucker, as a concerned stock holder, blasting Adam for being drunk at work. And you could see, that he was not a happy camper that Jack stepped down and Billy/Adam are in charge! LOL, calling them, drunk and drunker. He nailed it that he and Billy will be fighting over every decision(like some raccoons in a burlap sack LOL) will be their undoing. Not surprised that Adam suggested they join forces to oust Billy and stop Victor from taking over. He promises that Tucker will have a louder voice in this multinational conglomerate. But I am glad that Tucker turned him down, due to putting family first. So who did you think Adam called, requesting a meeting.
And we have Jack presuming he has Phyllis back in his life again(romantically, ugh). I had to agree, it's not a good idea right snow. She made many valid points pointing that the Doc said that Jack shouldn't make any major decision in his first 6 months of recovery. Plus, she is going through a divorce, not a good time to start a relationship. Or doesn't want to hurt anyone or get hurt. She runs out as Jack actually looks hurt.
Of course, Lily thinks Tyler's ideas are great, blah, blah. And thanks to Cane, checking on the twins, she gets to spend time bouncing ideas. Not a smart idea, Cane, leaving your wife with the jerk, that constantly hits on her. Lily loves Tyler's "wow" ideas, ugh. He thinks, she is "wow" too(rolls eyes) He respects that she is dedicated to her kids and career. But he won't respect, she is married. Jack@ss! He seemed irritated as she praised her supportive husband. And if you care, Tyler slipped up saying he grew up in Milwaukee, while a puzzled Lily thought he lived in Detroit. He covers, as Cane arrives back.
Great news Phyllis signed the divorce papers and not impressed to get Underground reopening invite(Come be with family) And she invites Jack, as her date. She claims that life is too short, you must spend with people that make you happy. Or she is just sticking it to Nick, by being there with him. Hmmm. What do you think?
And Neil gets the bad news from Devon, that Jack is coming back to Jabot. And Jack confirms it, when he arrives there. BTW, Jack showed Neil how to dress professional. I'm tired of the casual look there. I thought Jack had a great idea for Neil to run a new fashion decision. But if Neil, doesn't want to be second fiddle, he needs to start his own business.
Well, typical Phyllis, not wanting to wish her mother a 63rd birthday. But she got right, she ended up exactly like her parents. And as usual, Phyllis blames her behavior on them, refusing to take responsibility for her actions. Grrr. I'm sure it's her parents fault, she ran down Paul/Chris(ugh). Kudos to Phyllis being bluntly honest that hates Nick/Avery. My thoughts exactly. I thought there was some truth when she said that Avery is trying to steal her life. Phyllis rants, their relationship, was a knife in her heart. See, she isn't over Nick yet! She was sarcastic that she deserved it, due to Ronan. Well, there was some poetic justice there. Avery had a lot of nerve asking for her forgiveness.
We also had some great Adam/Jack had scenes. After Jack updates him that no one will know Adam moved the body. I notice how deeply bonded Jack was to Adam by telling him, he won't forget how they protected each other. And they predictably, they know Victor will seek revenge. So will the Congressman, I bet. When Jack suggests he become Victor's #1 son by giving the company back. Adam shoots that idea down, not wanting to end up like Vicki/Nick. He nailed that he needs to be the outcast son and Victor the evil father. (Well, Adam can also be the evil son at times) And we get some honest truth from that Chelsea wanted him to be something, he wasn't and Newman is all he got left.
I was glad to see Kyle back. I'm glad that Jack asked him to work at Jabot.
Good scenes with Tucker/Devon.Devon reveals he got advice after their little chat. LOL as Tucker called her "Katherine the Great" Devon reveals, she wants Devon to give him another chance. Tucker is right, ironic because Kay won't. And I knew that Devon would accept Tucker's job offer, because he was bored at Jabot. I believe Tucker wants his son to be happy doing something he loved. And he was right, Neil did respect his decision to quit his job at Jabot, because he he knew that he was unhappy, and not think, he was disloyal.
ITA with Noah, he does let Adrianna walk all over. Nick is correct that he is playing a dangerous game, by pretending he is still into Adrianna. Kudos to Nick, calling Nick, warning him to stay away from his son, bring Adrianna down without him.
A guilty Avery comes whining to Nick about regretting jumping into a relationship with him, because she hurt Phyllis. She never cared, because she wanted Nick, from the beginning. So, she can STHU! But she doesn't break with the most wonderful man ever(LOL). If really she thinks Phyllis put the past behind her, she is a fool.
So, what did you like/dislike about the episode? Any comments, would be greatly appreciated!
