Y&R -- Michael serves Jack with a lawsuit. Adrian gives Colleen an advance copy of his book; Sharon tries to persuade Michael to drop the lawsuit against Jack; Victor and Sabrina try to define their relationship. -- Jana and Kevin try to set a wedding date -- Victor and Sabrina decide to continue exploring their relationship. Colleen is surprised by what she discovers when Adrian gives Colleen an advanced copy of his book.

Jana stops by the Abbott mansion and advises Gloria that if Gloria is nice to Kevin, Kevin will soften and come back to her. Jana also asks Gloria to be her matron of honor, laying on the compliments after she asks. Meanwhile, Kevin and Michael decide that their new plan for dealing with Gloria is working. Sharon approaches Michael about the lawsuit which Michael has filed against Jack, Sharon urges Michael to reconsider - but Michael just blasts Sharon for even entertaining the thought that Michael might be willing to drop the suit. Pointing out how the fall set back Lauren's recovery, Michael explains in no uncertain terms that the legal action is well-deserved. As she leaves, Sharon's parting shot hits its mark - Sharon observes that Michael is 'just like' Michael's mother, Gloria! Jana returns to the coffee shop to meet with Kevin and the two set a wedding date. When Nikki and Victoria meet for lunch, Nikki assures her daughter that Nikki will never go back to Victor. Later, Victoria complains about Victor putting Adam in charge of Beauty of Nature - and moving Victoria to acquisitions. At the Athletic Club Colleen congratulates Adrian when Adrian shows Colleen the advance copies of his published book. However, Colleen advises Adrian that Colleen has NOT told Brad yet that Adrian's book will soon be released. After Nikki confides to Paul some of the details about David's gambling problem, Paul offers to investigate David for Nikki when Nikki informs Paul that Nikki is concerned about David's sudden trip to Texas. Nikki rejects Paul's offer. Later, Nikki continues to be concerned when she realizes that she is STILL unable to reach David. Heather and Brad chat at the club and when she asks him about Nikki and David, Brad praises Nikki, but can't resist hinting that David is not to be trusted. When Paul interrupts and invites Heather to dinner. Brad ia insulted until Heather reveals that Paul is her father. Victoria ia thrilled when Sabrian announces the news that Sabrina will be working to help Victor establish a modern art collection. Victoria then suggests that Sabrina could rent J.T.'s loft or even stay with Victoria and J.T. and the baby. Instead, Sabrina reveals that she intends to stay with Victor at the Ranch. Victoria takes Sabrina with her when Victoria meets with Nikki and they gives Nikki the news about Sabrina's association with Victor. Later, Sabrina is visibly shaken when Victoria informs Sabrina that Victoria still believes that it may be possible that her parents may get back together. Sharon is surprised when Jack meets with Sharon at the Club and cheerfully announces that Jack has bought a new home for their family.

FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2008 -- SUMMARY OF THE WEEK'S EVENTS
YOUNG AND RESTLESS -- David pushes Nikki to set a date for their wedding, but Nikki is still unsure about David's gambling addiction -- and continues to put David off. Brad hires a bookie to tempt David to gamble. The bookie calls Brad to inform Brad that David HAS placed a bet. Jeff tries to convince Kyon that they are finished. Kyon locks Gloria in the wine cellar. Alistair finds Gloria, only to end up locked in the wine cellar with her. Alistair tells Gloria what he saw between Jeff and Kyon. Alistair tempts Gloria to tell him everything about what is going on between Gloria and Jeff. Lily tells Cane that she is pregnant. Daniel tries to convince Amber that their relationship is serious. Victor and Sabrina hit the sheets. Neil helps Karen unpack her things as she moves into Neil's apartment. Still uneasy about Adam, J.T. suggests doing a background check for Victoria. Jack is served with a $2 million lawsuit from Michael. Sharon is stunned when Jack buys a house before Sharon sees it. Michael gives Victor the paperwork to start the art foundation, as well as to work on something for Adam. Nick and Victoria discuss Adam and decide that Adam is out to take everything they have.

FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2008 -- SUMMARY OF THE WEEK'S EVENTS
Y&R -- After returning from their romantic trip to Los Angeles, Victor and Sabrina hit the sheets. Gloria finally gives in to Jeff's advances, only to be interrupted by Jeff's very angry Korean girlfriend, Kyon. Lily receives shocking news which COULD destroy her modeling career. Nick becomes annoyed with Adam's flirtatious actions whenever Adam is around Phyllis. Michael serves Jack with lawsuit papers, but Jack is determined to beat Michael at his own game.

LILY DISCOVERS THAT SHE IS EXPECTING -- When Lily continues to eat little and appears lethargic, Cane asks if she might be pregnant. Lily insists that there is NO possibility of a pregnancy, because they used protection. After Cane reassures Lily of his support, Lily decides to take a pregnancy test. After Lily picks up the test, she takes it back to the dorm, where she runs into Devon. Devon immediately begins to hassle Lily about working too hard and Lily argues back. However, in the middle of the argument, Lily becomes ill and rushes off to the lady's room. When Lily leaves, Devon picks up Lily's purse and spots the pregnancy test. However, when Lily returns, Devon says nothing about his discovery. Lily is stunned when the test turns up a positive result. Lily finds Cane and lets Cane know what she has learned. Cane again reassures Lily of his support, but Lily insists that she needs some time to think before making any decisions about her future. Lily stops by the dance studio where Dru used to go and has a chat with one of Dru's old friends. Later, Lily confides her news to Colleen. Colleen urges Lily to let Neil know right away, but Lily is not so sure that the time is right for Neil to know. While Lily is mulling over her decision, Chloe calls and advises Lily that she is needed at Jabot as soon as possible. Lily immediately worries that Jill has somehow learned about Lily's condition - and plans to dismiss Lily from the 'Fresh Face of Jabot' publicity campaign.

GLORIA KICKS JEFF OUT OF ABBOTT MANSION - BUT JEFF THREATENS TO REVEAL GLORIA'S SECRET TO THE WORLD -- At Abbott Mansion, as Jeff and Gloria as beginning to get cozy together, they are interrupted when Jeff's Korean girlfriend, Kyon, bursts in on them. After a lot o shouting, Kyon promises to tell Gloria ALL about Jeffrey - and hustles Gloria on down to the wine cellar so Gloria and Kyon can celebrate learning the truth. However, when they get downstairs, Kyon shoves Gloria inside the wine cellar, slams the door, then heads back upstairs to 'discuss' their relationship with Jeff. However, Alistair arrives and is spotted by Kyon. Kyon begins shouting at Alistair and shoves him out the door. However, Alistair spots Gloria's purse and realizes that Gloria IS at the mansion. Suspecting that Gloria could be in trouble, Alistair finds another entrance and sneaks in again. As he creeps around - Alistair spots Jeff, getting coy with Kyon. After locating Gloria's jacket, Alistair grabs the house keys from the jacket pocket, then begins exploring the mansion, in search of Gloria. Of course, the room in the mansion which would draw Alistair like a magnet would be the wine cellar. When he arrives, Alistair can hear Gloria, calling for help. Alistair manages to pick the lock and open the door to the wine cellar. However, after Alistair enters the wine cellar, the door slams behind him and he is locked in with Gloria - AND all of that fine wine! While they are locked in, Alistair fills Gloria in on all of the lurid details about Jef's cozy 'discussions' with Kyon. Gloria is desperate to get out so she can 'rescue' Jeff - but Alistair assures Gloria that Jef is NOT worthy of her concern. Eventually Alistair and Gloria manage to open the wine cellar door once again - and race upstairs. Once Gloria gets a good look at Jeff and Kyon's coziness, Gloria tosses BOTH Jeff AND Kyon out of the house. Jeff threatens to blab to the world everything he knows about Gloria's secret. Gloria is so fed up that she retorts that she no longer cares - she would RATHER be in prison than with Jeff. After Jeff leaves, Alistair finds himself in a predicament. Alistair has already taken money from Jill and Kay in order to learn WHAT secret Gloria is hiding which Jeff has been holding over Gloria's head - and report what he learns back to Jill and Kay. Since Alistair is ALWAYS in need of ready cash - Alistair is torn between the desire to collect his reward from Jill and Kay - and his desire to become Gloria's white knight and rescue Gloria from her present predicament.

Y&R -- Lauren tells Michael that Gloria has proved that she HAS changed - and MICHAEL is the only one who will NOT accept Gloria's about-face. Gloria asks Jack and Sharon to at least muster a little 'thank you.' When Neil asks Lily if she is in some kind of trouble, Lily affirms that she IS! "Jill Realizes that Lily is Pregnant" -- Jill tries to manipulate Jeff into spilling the beans about Gloria; Gloria kisses Alistair in front of Jeff; Lily tells Neil the truth about her pregnancy.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16, 2008
Y&R -- "Lily Tries to Decide Whether to Keep the Baby" -- Chloe warns Lily that if Lily goes through with her pregnancy -- Lily will be putting an end to her modeling career forever. Nick agrees to rent some of the space in the Restless Style building to Sabrina for the budding Victor Newman modern art collection; Victoria finds out that Victor owns the mortgage to Nick's building; Cane tells Lily he wants her to have the baby; Sabrina tells Victoria about Sabrina's budding romantic relationship with Victor. Karen and Neil's relationship hits a snag when they disagree about what Lily's future plans SHOULD be now that Lily has discovered that she is pregnant.

FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 2008 -- SUMMARY OF THE WEEK'S EVENTS
Y&R -- Victoria learns that Victor holds the mortgage on the building which Nick is purchasing for the Restless Style Headquarters. Victor insists that he is only trying to protect Nick - but Victoria finds that almost impossible to believe. Later, Victoria learns the shocking truth about Victor's affair with Sabrina. Victoria orders Sabrina to get out of her house. Meanwhile, Nick agrees to a business arrangement with Sabrina when Sabrina asks to rent a part of the Restless Style magazine headquarters to house Victor's budding modern art collection. When Victoria later informs brother Nick about their father's affair with Victoria's best friend, Nick remains unconcerned. Only later does Nick learn that Victor has the upper hand in the deal - because VICTOR is the one who holds the mortgage on the building which Nick is purchasing as the headquarters for Restless Style Magazine. Gloria surprises everyone when she turns ownership of the Abbott Mansion over to Jack. Is this a genuine good deed or part of another scheme? Lily tries to connect to Dru's past in making a decision about her pregnancy. Lily's pregnancy causes a rift in Neil and Karen's relationship. When Victoria tells Nikki about Victor's affair with Sabrina, Nikki tries to reassure her daughter that Victor is merely indulging in a fling. However, Victoria worries that her father might actually be in love with Victoria's best friend. DOES Sabrina have a hidden agenda - and is Victoria RIGHT to be worried?

will remain as the show's executive producer. BOTH S.O. Weekly AND TV
GUIDE have posted articles stating that LYNN MARIE LATHAM will NOT be
returning to YOUNG AND RESTLESS now that the Writers' Strike is
concluded. S.O.Weekly is ALSO reporting that Latham's husband and son will
also NOT be returning to work, now that the strike has ended. Insiders
report that, when Latham went on the picket line as a writer, she ALSO
refused to continue to serve as Y&R's executive producer, which forced Y&R
to bring in someone from Sony to co-pilot with JOSH GRIFFITH. GRIFFITH
has also recently been named as Y&R's head writer. MARIA ARENA BELL has
recently been named as Y&R's new head writer. JOSH GRIFFITH will take

(Although Port Charles has an over-all 1.7 average for the year from September 2002 to September 2003 - Port Charles had a 1.2 rating by the time that the final episodes were aired. Affiliates all over the country absolutely refused to even carry the final three weeks. Even very loyal WABC in New York shuffled Port Charles off to the graveyard shift for the last SIX weeks that Port Charles was on the air. Not even loyal WABC aired the FINAL episode - which featured Vampires Caleb and Livvy gnoshing on each other's wrists and drawing blood during the so-called 'wedding' ceremony. Soap Net itself did NOT air a marathon for the final week of Port Charles! Instead, Soap Net aired 'One Last Bite' - which featured favorite episodes of the chosen few. Oddly enough, veterans like Lynn Herring and Jon Robert Lindstrom managed to sneak in episodes from the HIGHER rated, PRE-December, 2000 era of PC. AMC and OLTL are BOTH currently on a ratings par with Port Charles when Port Charles was cancelled!)
