To quote TGVN: "Well, I'll be damned!!" LOL. I was in shock to hear Gloria say those words to Michael. But she was right(for once LOL) and Michael needs to drop this ridicolous revenge lawsuit against Jack!!

And I thought that Lane was phenomenal and touching today!

Lauren and Michael enter the place. He remarks to them that he is getting a little tired of Gloria's mandatory family meetings. Aren't we all!!
Lauren points out but she didn't exactly let them down the last time. Giving the Abbott mansion back to Jack? Didn't see that coming. I actually did, since her sons cut her off in their lives.
Kevin replies neither did he. But he has to admit, she is making an effort. Michael adds

Or maybe she's just making an effort to make us believe she's making an effort.

That's exactly what I am thinking, she is doing.

We see Gloria enter, dressed down like she is going out for a run. A sarcastic Kevin loves the
look, Mom. Did she join a gang? LOL. Michael says no. But he has a feeling that's a costume that's, put on to sway them. Remember when she remade herself for William? Cashmere sweater sets, tasteful pearls? Lasted all of a nanosecond. LOL, true! Lauren tells him to be nice for one second. Gloria says it's all right. He had a point. When she did that for William, yes, it was a costume, people can change. She can change. Inside and out. And shem going to prove it to them. She hope they will reconsider and let her move back in with them. It was hilarious to watch amused Kevin laugh and Michael says funny.
And Gloria asking that question, just proves that she hasn't changed, IMHO.

Gloria knows that moving back in with them is a big decision. That's why she wanted to come and ask them again in person. Now she promise to mind her own business. She will give them two lots of space, but of course shell be there when they need a sitter for Fen. Michael is sorry. He doesn't want to hurt her, but things at home are sane now, and they can't give that up. LOL, don't blame him!!
Gloria suggests what if they call it "living with?" They'll call it, visiting, an extended visit. And that way, she can go back and forth from Michael's apartment and even to Kevin's place. I laughed as Kevin bluntly said she isn't going to live with Jana and him. Gloria looked miffed LOL. Michael tells Gloria, it's a soft market. She can have her pick of properties. On the lake, in the woods, a loft downtown. Call a realtor. Make her day. LOL Gloria whines dream home. How can it be a dream home you don't have a family to share it with? Boy, she is trying to guilt trip them there!! And as usual, she expects her kids to center their world around her!
Michael tells the Ladies and Gentlemen, he bids them adieu. Lauren? Lauren says they'll have her for dinner soon. Michael says eventually and Lauren says soon as they exit
A pouting Gloria guess her grandmother was right. No good deed goes unpunished. Oh brother!! She expects a reward for giving up the mansion!!

Alistair approaches the secretary and says excuse him? It was funny as the poor woman starting screaming. He notes excellent lungs. Has she ever considered opera? The poor woman manages to say, "Mr. Abbott?" LOL
A puzzled Jill asks what on earth? She tells her to calm down, it's not John Abbott. Alistair says nice chatting. In the conference room, she asks what on earth was he thinking of? He want to give this whole company heart failure? Alistair merely wanted to confer with her about dear Gloria. Jill asks if he has information about the state of Dear Gloria's marriage of inconvenience?
He was hoping that she could offer him some guidance. A ticked Jill says he got nothing? What is she paying him for? Alistair doesn't draw a salary. Jill retorts angrily asks that so? "Have you seen your bill for the athletic club? And room service? And the Swedish massages? Oh, not to mention the minibar!" LOL Alistair notes such anger. He thought they had the same goal, to save Gloria. She is as hostile as that imbecile Bardwell. Jill does want to save Gloria. Alistair says unfortunately, he still has a grip on her. Jill stresses it's his job to find out what it is. And if he can't do that, he is going have to start paying for his own eggs Benedict. LOL, the look on Alistair's face is priceless LOL. I bet that he doesn't want to lose his new comfortable lifestyle!

Jeff is outside Gloria's door. He tells that he knows she in here. Look this is crazy. She is the only woman for her. If she is honest with herself, she'd know that he is the only man for her. He signs and says he can wait all night if he has to. He knows that she wants him as much as she wants him. It was funny as the cleaning lady came out. Jeff laughs and is sorry, he thought she was his wife.

Downstairs Lauren and Michael are having dinner. Michael asks she did? Lauren says she did! Michael said she actually thought that he was going to invite Gloria back into the house?

Michael says she's not and they're free as they see Gloria. Later he asks for his order to go. Gloria tells Michael that he is avoiding him. He is being ridiculous. Michael retorts only thing that's ridiculous is her stalking him while he is trying to enjoy a meal. Gloria wouldn't dream of interrupting his meal, but he does have a small request. Michael says then request away, as long as it has nothing to do with his guest room. Gloria says it doesn't, she wants him to drop the lawsuit against Jack. Michael retorts that he isn't going to even have with that question, but no can do. She isn't the plaintiff. Gloria points out that he is lawyer, and Lauren is fine and they both know that. Michael reminds that she could be called as a witness. It was shocking to hear that Gloria admitted it was wrong of her to fight Jack to stay in the Abbott mansion. It is wrong of him to get revenge in court. It will come back to haunt him. Michael sarcastically says how Karmaesque of her. Gloria says she is learning, then kisses him on the cheek.

Gloria retorts that loser, as he call him, is kind and charming and treats her with great regard. Jeff sarcastically says really? "Would he treat you with the same great regard if there were bars between the two of you?" LOL Gloria sneers says if that he wants to do, just do it. Call the police. She'll be over there having one last great meal before her diet of prison food. With Alistair. Jill then see Jeffery, and says, what a nice surprise. She notes that he look upset. Oh, she hopes he isn't here to see his wife. She sees Gloria/Alistair. She asks a little misunderstanding? Jeff says something like that. Jill says if he ever needs ever need anybody to confide in... Gloria and her have certain things in common. No kidding! They certainly seem to be attracted to the same man. Jeff could use a female perspective, and such a lovely female, at that.

Meanwhile in the peanut gallery, Jill points out the hypocrisy is staggering. She catches him with this woman from his past in Korea, a woman he isn't even sleeping with and she rants and she raves? And now, just look at the way she's throwing herself at that Olivier wannabe. LOL
Jeff points out it's entirely for his benefit. She has no interest in that moron. Jill says that there is that physical thing. That makes sense. Colleen noticed. It's like her grandfather is sitting right there. Jeff will take that check. He finds a note from Gloria saying that she wants him and to meet her in room.

In Gloria's room, Alistair suggest a nightcap from the minibar. Gloria seems anxious as she looks out the door. He ask if it his imagination or are they making these bottle smaller? He gives her a drink, saying she is as lovely as the sunrise that he yet to behold with her(gag) Gloria thanks them as they kiss. Jeffery enters and Gloria pretends to be shocked. But then she smiles vindictively at him. Nope, she hasn't changed at all!

Kevin hands a box over to Jana as he notes Michael and Lauren eating their AC meal. A not impressed Kevin ask

Hey, hey, hey, did you guys read the sign? No outside food or beverage. Should I amend it to say, "no outside food or beverage, Michael and Lauren, that means you"?

ROFTL!! Too funny!
Michael informs that they went to the club for a fireside table and a pinot grigio, but the wine came with a side order of Gloria. LOL. Kevin asks that Gloria ambushed them? Lauren says dryly that the club is Gloria's new home. Michael retorts as she likes to remind them, several times. Kevin gets it. She is laying siege until they back down. Michael states she's got new demands. Well, one demand, actually. Lauren bluntly says it's a biggie.

Jack enters the house, and we see his reflection in the mirror. He sounded so lonely as he said, "Hey, Dad, I'm home. No lectures? No words of advice?"
Sharon comes down the stairs and announces it's official. The upstairs is de-Gloria-find (LOL)and Noah helped her. Now she told him that if he doesn't keep his room clean, they are going to buy that portrait of Gloria and hang it in his bedroom. LOL. She giggle, then asks what's wrong? Jack denies it's nothing. Sharon tells him it's finally over. They have the house back..."your house" A down Jack knows that he should be planning a celebration. And he wants to, but can't

Sharon puts John's portrait on the table. She points that his Dad still is in this house, and he always will be. Jack admit the he always thought if he lived here, if he raised a family here, he could one day be the man his father was. He somehow never measure up.Sharon asks why? Because, he has made mistakes? Doesn't he think his Dad ever made mistakes?(like Gloria)
Jack know you don't have to look too far back for mine. Look at the lengths he went to get this house back. Sharon says and here they are

A discourage Jack says sometimes I think I'm going to spend his entire life in John Abbott's shadow. Sharon states that's not true. You know, john still lives in this house. Jack just called in a to-go order for two of the most decadent desserts ever created. Sharon says sweet tooth, huh? Jack says that Noah's at a sleepover(big surprise LOL), he has a wife to himself. He thought maybe they could celebrate.
Sharon is so in on that. But you know what? I do think that they should have a big celebration, too. Let's get the whole family together. That's a great idea. Jack says he'd love that. Sharon says good. Does he remember when Nick was lost in the woods, and, they all thought that he was dead? And Noah was very, sad, that and he wanted to help him, but that day on the basketball court he said that his father came to him and told him what to do. Jack remembers every word. "Let him come to me. Don't push myself on him" Sharon points out that he did? Now maybe it was his father who told him what to do that day, but he was the man who did it. He made her son feel less frightened and a little more secure and that was really beautiful. Yes, it was. I'm glad that Sharon reminded Jack, that he was a good man today.

She will be right back. BTW, I enjoyed that Jack/Colleen finally had scenes together! While waiting, Jack is totally stunned when he overhears Gloria tells Jack to drop the lawsuit.

A puzzled Sharon says first she gives them the mansion, and now this? Jack replies, yeah. Suddenly generous, kind, what's wrong with her?

Cane is going to head back to the office. There's this pitch meeting for a new summer fragrance He has to sit in on and needs to look at his notes. Bye. Jill is right that distracting himself with work isn't going to help. Lily will still be pregnant, he will still want the baby, and she still won't have made a decision. He needs to talk to her again. Cane tried, but she just needs time to think about it. That's all. Jill suggests that she could move into the estate. They'd redo a wing, and baby-proof the whole thing. Loads of people to help him. Cane doesn't think help is the problem. She just needs to know if she wants the baby or not. Agreed! Jill realizes that she must miss her mother right now. Maybe she could approach her? Cane says no, please don't do that. She's under enough pressure already. He told her that he will stick by her and he will.
Jill asks that's great for Lily, but what does it do for him? Cane says don't worry about him, he's fine. Jill states that he told her that he wants this baby. I loved Cane saying, "All that matters right now is Lily". Jill sarcastically says

Oh, how gallant, but it's not true, Cane. If she decides not to have your baby, not only will she have to live with that for the rest of her life, but so will you.

And she is right there.

Winter's Condo

Neil asks if she is having this baby? Is she sure that's what she wants? Lily is sure. Neil asks what does Cane think? Lily hasn't told him yet, but this is what he wants, too. And she tells that she isn't just doing this for Cane. She has been thinking about Mom a lot. Ditto for Neil. Lily doesn't know, but feels like she's still here guiding her, telling her the right thing to do. Neil knows that nothing scared her mother.
Lily would be lying if she said this didn't scare her. Neil states his job as a parent is to make it less scary, all right? And the first thing, she can move back here, all right? A stunned Lily awkwardly doesn't know about that. A surprised Neil asks, "What are you talking about, you don't know about that." He'll get her a snack. We're going sit down, They are going to a to do list, all right, to prep for the baby, her school schedule, all that kind of good stuff. I was glad to hear that Lily can't and needs to go talk to Cane. Neil retorts no, what she should do is just hang out here, talk to him for a little while. Good for Lily telling Neil that she needs to go! I'm glad she didn't agree to Neil's ridiculous plan.

Jill is relieved she is here. Katherine said she called, asked her to wait, so she did. So what's going on? Jill totally stuns her by saying that Lily is pregnant.

Lily has made a decision. Cane asks about the baby? Lily just wants to say how grateful she is that he has been so sweet and caring. Letting her think this through, even if the conclusion isn't what he wants. A supportive Cane will live with whatever decision she makes because he loves her. And he will try to understand. Lily says but it turns out, that the decision she has made is what he wants. She is going have the baby.
I just love as Cane told her to come here and lifted up her in his arms as they happily rejoiced!! Wonderful moment. She tells that she listened to her mom. She knows that sounds crazy. Cane asks what happened? Lily explains that she went to her old dance studio and met her favorite teacher. And somehow, her mom, spoke to her. A happy Cane knew that he'd love that lady, he just knew it. I loved Lily telling him that he will be such an amazing, father. And honestly, she could never have an abortion.

You, this baby, it is the greatest gift that anyone could ever have given me. Come here

Ah, wonderful loving words coming from Cane. Great moment as he hugged and Lily smiled.

Colleen asks Lily if she can talk. She is due for a break. Just give her a second. Devon asks how it's going? Colleen has 15 minutes or until table three finds something else to complain about. Then she says hi to Devon. Lily is glad that they are both here. There's something she wanted to tell them and has already talked to Dad and Cane, but she has decided to have the baby. Colleen says wow. Devon wishes her congratulations, right? Colleen asks if she is sure about this? An annoyed Lily really wishes people would stop asking her that. Colleen knows, but she means there's school, modeling and there's everything else's she wanted. Devon think she can handle it. It's not like she's going to be raising the baby by herself. Colleen says true, but it's Lily who's going to be having the baby. Devon is right, that's she got a good support system, too. Lily points out that she is right here. LOL. Colleen says sorry. So what did Cane say? Lily is thrilled and happy. Devon hopes he better. Lily informs that Cane promised that they would go through this together. Colleen says right, like those husbands who say, "when we're pregnant," and "when we have the baby, when really she is one who's going to be giving birth here. Lily states that's not very helpful. Colleen says right. Devon asks what's the deal now? Is she moving in with Cane? Colleen asks is that what she wants? A confused Lily, doesn't know

Lily relates that Cane isn't like other guys He want her and this baby. Colleen asks what does that mean? He goes to work, she stays at home, he gives her money? Devon asks he gives up his job and stays home with the baby while she go to school and Dad and Jill send her checks?
Lily doesn't know. She just made this decision. She hasn't figured out all the details yet. And besides, that is something that her and Cane has to decided.
Devon suggests that she does have an alternative. "Okay, you can have the baby, and then find the right couple to bring it up."
Well, maybe if she was 16 and alone, that would be a good idea. But she isn't and has her boyfriend to support her with the baby.
Poor Lily asks ask, why is everyone pressuring her? "Listen to you guys!" No kidding! They need to get off her case.
Colleen tells them, they are on her side. Lily sarcastically says

No! Dad wants me to move home. Cane wants to be father of the year. Oh, oh, but it's completely up to me, of course.

Poor Lily, she must be so tired of people telling her what to do! I know that Devon and Colleen meant well, but maybe less interference is good! Devon tells Lily it's cool. Everything is, all right? Poor Lily bluntly says, it's not cool, okay? Nothing is cool. She is sorry.

Oh, this is going to be really tough on lily. I have no illusion about that." The door knocks and he tells her that he needs her help on this one.
Cane says sorry for stopping by without calling. But he figured that they need to talk.
He let him in side and ask if Lily told him yet?
Cane replies that she's going to keep the baby. He wants him to know that he is with her 100% on this, and look, it was her decision, but he is thrilled. He is just thrilled that she's going to have this baby. Neil says good. He is ready to be a father, isn't he? Cane says a month ago, he would have said no. But now., he can't think of anything else that would make him happier than having this baby. And there is nothing that I would not do for the baby or his daughter. Ditto for Neil. Whatever she needs. As a matter of fact, he would like it if Lily moved back in here. I liked Cane asking is that she wants to do? Neil says no, but atleast it'll be an option for her. Cane sighs, and says in all honesty, his mom and his grandma would be very happy if Lily and the baby moved into the estate. Neil points out that he and Lily, aren't not even married and haven't been seeing each other that long. And according to his daughter, this baby, sorry to say, was an accident, right? Cane says that's right, it was.

All right, look, man, now I believe you when you say that you care about Lily, that you want this baby, and that you'll be there. But you have no idea how you'll feel when it's a reality.

I really don't like how Neil is talking down to Cane right. And Neil is so controllling with Lily, I don't like it! And he hasn't give Cane a chance as a parent. And Neil should remember too, that he didn't know either before Lily was born.

Cane says that Mum told her? Kay says don't blame Jill. She was just worried about her. Cane says she made her decision. And they are going to have the baby.
Katherine replies that's a very fortunate. He is going to be a wonderful father. Cane hopes so. He is kind of short on role models and experience, though. Katherine states that's an on the job training. Every father gets it. In fact, about 2 weeks, he'll be doing his own course. They teach it to everybody. Colleen says that's encouraging.. He should have seen her, when his uncle Brock was born. She was a wreck. Everybody had advice and most of it stunk. So she learned to, take some advice from some and ignore the others, as will he. Cane hope so. Kay asks may she ask him something? Cane says of course she can. Katherine asks does he love Lily? Does he really and truly love that girl? Cane replies he does. Katherine asks if he is certain? Cane says without a doubt. He love her even more, now that she is pregnant.

Do you know what the problem is? Neil wants her to move back home and raise the baby in the house, and look, I don't want to insult the man, but it's not his child.

IA! I liked seeing Cane being fed up with Neil here. Time to put Neil in his place!!
Cane stresses it's their child. It is Lily's and his. And he just doesn't know what to do. Katherine says take her home. She wants to show him something. Come on. Good scenes between them.

Lily is looking at a pregnancy book, but gets a call from Madame Chavin. She asks now and says she is on her way.

Winter Condo

Devon is glad that Lily talked to him. Neil says thanks, him too. Devon brought up adoption to her. Neil points out that baby is already loved by this family. Why would she want to give it up? Devon argues why wouldn't she? Lily is just a kid herself. Neil states that's how it's going to be for Lily. She'll finish college, the baby isn't going to change that. He will make sure it doesn't
Devon points out it's going to affect him, a lot. And his own relationship. Neil replies that it's life. "You adjust. When it comes to your children, you adjust even more." That's true. But if he doesn't let go of being so controlling, he may lose Lily.

Scene 8
Ballet room

Lily calls out Madam C's name, but she isn't there. She finds a rose and smells it. Cane says welcome and startles Lily. She ask what he is doing here? Cane replies that she told me this was the place where she got your answers and this is where her mother loved. Thought this would be
ideal spot. It was totally romantic as Cane pull out a ring and open the box

Will you marry me?

Lily looks startled!!

In the final scene of the episode. Cane asks isn't Lily going to say something. An out of breath Lily is shocked. She doesn't know what to say. Cane replies she can say yes. It's his grandma's ring. Lily has thought about this moment so many times. And in her mind, it was like a fairy tale. Handsome prince down on one knee. It was totally romantic as he did just that. She cries that she loves him for that. But her in her fantasy, the prince proposes because he wants to, not because he has to. Cane wants to. Lily argues, how can he be so sure? If she wasn'tt pregnant, she wouldn't even be doing this. Not now. She needs...An understanding Cane will give her time. give you time.

You have to know, I am telling you this with all my heart, I love you. I do. And you are a prince. You're my prince.

Sniff, then so romantic as she kisses him and says she is sorry. I could see how deeply they love each in that scene. Poor Cane looks so sad and heartbroken as she leaves.
Lily did make the right choice, neither one of the are ready for marriage. And I alsoI thought Cane's prosposal was one of most romantic ones that I had ever seen on daytime.
Christel and Daniel were superb as they gave such a raw emotional performances in their final scene.
