Chancellor Mansion

Lily is sorry that she didn't return Cane's messages, she need time to think. He asks if she changed her mind. Lily loves him, but she can't marry him. She tells him that he is wonderful, amazing, everything she would want in a husband, if she wanted a husband. Poor Cane looks heartbroken and he says life messy and you can't control everything. Just don't throw away something so wonderful. Lily isn't and thought how quickly she said yes, when Daniel proposed. And look how that turned out. An emotional Cane point out that he isn't Daniel(thank goodness). He is an old fashion guy and when two people love each other and going to have a baby, they should be married. Lily says it's too much, too soon. They have been only dating a few month. She doesn't want to hurt him or risk losing. Cane tells her that she isn't losing him. Lily says good. It's not as much as no, but as not yet!! Cane says whether she marries him, this baby is going to have an active committed, involved father. I loved him saying that. Whether he or she, they Daddy is going to be here. He says that "not yet" will have to do. Lily so look happy and relieved. I'm glad that Cane gave her some peace with her words.

Lily has a appointment with her OBYN tomorrow morning. Lily can't believe this real. I love as Cane had her arms around her and kisses her and says it is. He is happy. Lily wishes everyone was. She still has to face Chloe and mocks "you are going to ruin your brilliant career" LOL. Cane would love to be there but has to take Katherine for a doctor's appointment for her shoulder. Lily knows that Chloe has already written her off. She feels like she is letting everyone down. Jabot spent so much money publishing "Fresh Face of Jabot" And that Jill, Katherine, Chloe are sorry they picked her. A reassuring Cane says his family cares about her, and them and the baby, more than some contest. He really puts a big smile on her face.

Chloe says she is just hot,, hot Nikki is just gushing over Lily's photo shoot. Felicia is singing her praises and three agents have called about her. Lily doesn't know. It was nice to hear Chloe telling Lily that she could resurrect her career after the baby is born. Lily has no idea what going to happen next, the baby is first. She isn't some heartless fasionest monster, she does it. She has a guy like Cane that his mildly love with her. And she is pregnant with that baby. She got 2 things that she would kill for a successful career and fabulous guy. Envy sucks. It was sweet as Lily hugged her as they bond as friends. Nice scene.

Chancellor Mansion & Jabot

Cane reports to Lily that Katherine got a clean bill of health. How was Chloe. Lily says it's weird, she actually likes that girl. LOL. You, know, so am I! Cane guesses it went well. Lily says better than expect. Cane admits that he was talking to nurse about the baby. He got a bad case of proud pop syndrome. Ah.... She said they are doing an ultrasound. Lily said the doctor said the same thing. An excited Cane says they are going to see the first pictures. It's kind of awesome. Lily agrees. He asks to dinner. Lily is having a private dinner with her Dad. Don't feel excluded, because she needs some alone time with him. He will pick her up in the morning.

Jill arrives home and Cane tells her that Katherine's shoulder is 100%. Jill asks Cane how is Lily. He says fine. She tells him that she knows about the ring, from Katherine. So when he is going to ask her to marry him? Cane says she already did. Jill asks why aren't they celebrating with her. He replies she said no He only asked her because she was pregnant. From the pained tone of his voice, you know, because he wanted to. But they both need to be ready for mariage, or it won't work.
Jill says that partially true. Jill knows this must hurt him. But Lily is so young and feels probably overwhelmed. She wasn't planning to be a mother. Cane wasn't planning to be father, but the baby is on the way. When he was growing up, he would look up the southern cross, he wondered if his mother was thinking of him, where was she, does she miss him. If he sees a shooting star, he knows he is going to find her. He saw one before he came to America. That story had a happy ending and wants this baby to have a beginning.
So do I! Cane has such love for his child, it's so wonderful to see.

Poor Jack keeps calling out John, wondering if he still looking after him. Jack takes a drink of his martini. He wonders if Gloria is the reason that he deserted. He damns that woman as he accidentally drops the frame on the floor. He looks devasted that the glass shattered.
Sharon asks what happened. Jack says accident. She asks what's wrong? A down Jack says they have the house, every reason to be happy. Something feels wrong. Sharon suggests redecorate their house, make it there. She could call a few designers. He says sure.. Jack admits it's not the place, it's the past. Why he is so hung up on the past. His Dad, Ashley, Traci. He tried to call Ashley, tried to get her to visit home. He guesses that Thomas Wolf was right, "You can't back home" Even when you are home. Sharon asks if there is anything she can do to help. Jack says just being here, is good. He is going to AC to work out on a treadmill. Sharon asks if he is still going to Chicago tonight? Jack is and thanks her for the effort. Sharon says he is very welcome and tell him to run to nowhere. Jack is very good at it and exits. She notices that Jack has missed alot of calls.

AC

Jack greets a startled Gloria and she say hi. He asks how is her accommodations? Gloria says they aren't he Abbott Mansion, if that what he is implying? Jack says no implication,just merely a curiosity. Typical of her, not to tell the difference. Gloria supposes that was a compliment. Jack wants to call a truce, even though it got Michael's wrong headed, ridiculous, law suit hanging over his head. Gloria retorts he may think he is wrong headed, but he isn't one who hired a ghost to scare her out of the mansion. Jack wants to focus on the future. Gloria says the people always says that after they did something rotten, so no one reminds them. LOL as Jack said oh dear. Gloria says, he is the son of the man that she loved with all her heart. And for his sake, she isn't going to hold anything against him. She wishes him no ill, not anymore. She wishes that he would do same, since her days at Abbott manor are over. Jack looks puzzled over the odd exchange, which it was.

Jack isn't pleased to run into Michael leaving the gym. He retorts perfect. Michael says sarcastically glad to see him too. Jack asks what is this? A Baldwin/Fisher, Bardwell, Bardwell family reunion at the club? LOL. Jack has no intention of settling this lawsuit. He will happily pay all 5 dollars in cash and walks away. Michael tells him if the shoe was on the other foot, he would be suing him. He is as petty and malicious person that he ever met. Jack retorts that he wounds him. Michael say except for Gloria. Except the fact that they hate each other, they are really much alike. Doesn't that drip irony. Jack says he is the one who filed the papers. Jack is stunned that Michael unfilled them. Michael tell him to check his message. He ask surprised what made him do that? Michael retorts certainly not him. He has been thinking alot to be a parent. How important it is to set an example. He thought that John set a great example for him. Jack agrees. Michel says he is lucky, he didn't have such a great example. He asks "Does he think he is following his footsteps. Do you think if he looked down and see how he treated Gloria. He would feel pride for his son?"

Jack looks guilty, but he shouldn't. Gloria got what she deserved from him. And Michael acts like Gloria, is innocent in this matter, which he knows, she isn't.

Abbott Manor

Jack tells Sharon that Michael dropped the case. Sharon says that explains why his phone was ringing off the hook. He finds it odd because Michael never back down. Sharon thinks it good, because they work with Lauren on Monday and testify her against on Tuesday. Sharon asks what's wrong? Jack asks if he is being fair to Gloria. Sharon ask this what is about? Jack doesn't know, he is trying to figure out why he feels that way.
There is something wrong that he needs to set right. Sharon says he thinks it's Gloria. Jack doesn't know, they will talk about this when they get back. Sharon looks worried. So do I. I hope that setting what's right, doesn't involve softening toward Gloria. Maybe it could be that finds that Gloria tainted the cream and having justice for himself.

Scene 1 AC

Jeff laughs at the jokes that Jill made. She tells him that he has nice smile and should do it more often. Jeff says if he was with her, maybe he should. Jill points blank ask if he is making Gloria jealous by being with her. Jeff asks what makes her thank. She busts him that she was with Alistair when he asked her. Later he learns from the waiter that Gloria cancelled her order as she left the club. Jeff remarks that her and Alistair aren't in her room after all. Jill asks if he wants to go look for her. Jeff says no, he wants to be where he wants to be.

Jill says this has fun, but bit a surprised. Jeff retorts ask why, he and Gloria are a model couple, he can't look another woman. Jill says Gloria and her are friends, she used to confide in her. He would be surprise. Jeff says try him. Jill asks if he knew that Gloria manevere William into marrying her? Jeff laughs and notes that Gloria is a beautiful woman. He doubt that she would have to con anymore. Jill suggest she did the same to him? Jeff isn't easily influenced. Jill suggest he influenced her. Jeff says with his charming personality. Jill bluntly asks what else did he use? Jeff avoids the question by saying he will smile and motion to the waiter. Jill has to get back to work. Jeff will take her and Jill is glad because they talk tomorrow. I bet they are setting up a triangle with Jeff/Gloria/Jill. But I enjoyed the Jeff/Jill interactions.

Jill introduces Jeffery to some Enric and gets a message from Gloria. She isn't happy to learn that Nikki changed oil suppliers. They had the same one for decades, he is the best. She can't do this, without consulting her. Jill goes to find Nikki Jeffery asks Enrique, where is Gloria? The guy says she is at CL with her laptop. He informs Jeff that he got the information about the yoga retreat. Jeff looks baffled, then says never mind.

Jana wants Kevin to comfort his miserable Mom. Kevin bluntly tells her no!! She blew in here, like a bat out of hell, order tons of food that she won't eat..soully for the purpose of being asked "Is everything okay" Jana decides to check on her anyways, and Kevin abruptly says do what she wants. Jana does and Gloria starts her whining party about poor her, "Nothing matters. Two men, that she loved most in the world are gone. Her son won't even say hello to me and my marriage is a farce and I am all alone". It's pretty pathetic, the only attention, that she will get is from a drunken stalker LOL.
Jana says that things will get brighter. She talks about her time in prison, she wanted to curl up and die due to being lonely. Maybe she forget about her buddy, Phyllis, who was around 47/7 at times LOL. Gloria isn't impressed LOL. But Jana choose the light over darkness and goodness. And look at her now, she is healthy, free and marrying the most wonderful man..her son. Gloria thinks it's late for her. Kevin would say cue the violins but points out she is rich, which always makes her smile. Gloria thought it would solve all her problems but doesn't. She realizes that she is going up the river and wants Jana to tell her what prison's like. Kevin says they won't let that happen. Gloria knows that Jeffery is sending her there and no one can stop that.

Kevin asks if they are feeling better over here. Gloria says Jana told how to get better minutes on her prison phone card. LOL, Kevin saying that he guesses not. Jana told if the police hasn't showed up, they probably won't. Gloria says it doesn't matter. Kevin says it does, it's not like her. Jana suggest she should channel her energy into a new project..their wedding. LOL as an irritated Kevin tells Jana that he wants to see her in the patio. Jana says this is what his mom needs. Gloria agrees with Kevin, with her luck, she will ruin it. In fact, she won't come at all. Good, I wouldn't mind that.
Jana says no negative thoughts, it feeds on itself and chin up. Kevin says whatever she says. Jana says they are visual the future they want. Gloria says she doesn't deserve what they want. Kevin says that good question. Jana has a good answer. "You choose another path, go toward the light. " LOL as a negative Kevin asks what if that light is an oncoming train" You got love the expression on his face, he doesn't believe this karma stuff LOL.
Jana says it's the law of Karma. If she changed after her awful thing she did, so she can. You reap what you sow. You throw goodness in the universe, it will come back to you. What Gloria needs is therapy, that's how you change behavior as well.

A skeptical Kevin asks when she is such a expert on Karma? Jana replies she learned when she lived in India. He asks if she is sure about that. Kevin brings up she thought they were married with two kids on the heat. I can't believe that he brought that up!! LOL. Jana retorts, temporary bonkers due to brain tumor doesn't count. LOL She went with her mom, when they were teenagers. She was quite the free spirit and did yoga and live off vegetables and brown rice. She remembers when the Swami talked about Karma "Every bit of good you do, comes back to you. Gloria asks about the bad, she has done very bad. No kidding. Well, it comes back and bites you LOL. She reminds that she did some good, by saving her life. Excellent Karma. Gloria asks why doesn't she feel any better. Jana says stay with now. She tries to do something kind, every day. Kevin says she has been reading to kids at the woman shelter on Tuesday afternoon. I laughed that Gloria wanted to offer style advice to the ladies. LOL as Jana suggested a little down to earth. She could come next Tuesday. Kevin sarcastically says unless she scheduled her main/petty

Kevin, I'm not heartless. I can put other needs infront of my own. I can.

I will believe it, when I see it!! Good to see Kevin, skeptical too.

Michael announces they aren't talking to Jack's firm anymore. He tells his lovely wife, they are dropping the case. That's great news!!!
Michael reflects that his old law professor was a family law judge. He swore him into the bar. Lauren asks if he convinced him to drop his case. Michael says not in the way that he thinks. He told him to "Do justice, Michael. Do justice" Lauren said she never told her about him before. Michael hasn't thought about him a long time. And when he realized why he was suing Jack. He heard his words again, "Vengeance, Michael, isn't doing justice" Lauren is so proud of him. Michael was Fenmore to be proud of him too. Some people when they grow up and think about being parents. They want to be like their father or mother. Not Michael, he doesn't want to like her ever. Amen!

Lauren announces that the lawsuit against Jack is all gone. Kevin asks if they are settling? Lauren says no, they are dropping the case. She says poof, done! Jana says marvellous!! A puzzled Kevin notes that last he saw, Michael was foaming at the mouth. Why the change of heart. Lauren says he should ask Michael? Kevin retorts she must know. He was ready to put Jack through the ring and get every dollar that he could. Lauren states that would make her unhappy. LOL as Kevin said she could been unhappy on an awesome vacation. Jana can explain this. An amused Lauren asks really. She says Karma. Lauren asks who karma. Jana says Michael. Jana talks about Karma. Kevin says good stuff out and good stuff in. Jana has decided to turn toward the light. Jana says that lawsuit was tainted from the start. Bad Karma, Jack and Sharon tried to make Gloria into giving the mansion. Her husband suing for revenge, Karmic bloody disaster. The secret to Karma: is compassion, good eating, and honesty. Kevin says if you can fake it, you got it made LOL as Lauren chuckles. Jana says make fun. Michael has just released lot of good Karma and she is proud of him. Lauren asks what happened to their ghost buster Jana? Kevin says laugh, right. It's now in instant Karma Jana. He has to hand to her, she keeps it fresh. Jana has been enlightened and so has Gloria. She is trying to find her good Karma. Jana exits and a puzzled Lauren asks what is she talking about? They laugh and Kevin has no idea.

When I hear the words Gloria and Karma in the same sentence. I get really worried

Jeffery drops by looking for Gloria. Jana says she left already. Jeff asks where is she, he needs her? Jana says she needs her. Kevin retorts she doesn't. Jeff says he doesn't need to protect her from him, it's over. Jana says if he does anything horrible to her, fate will throw it back him. Kevin bluntly says screw fate Let's talk about the here and now. He has milked her for everything she has and now going to the cops. "You slimy..." Jeff tell him to take a breath, he isn't going to call the cops. He just wants the divorce and a quick and easy settlement. They both agree the marriage is lost and he is granted substantial, reasonable cash settlement. He leaves GC and he disappears forever. Kevin retorts until he runs out of cash and reappear like shingle.

If there is no evidence, I can't blackmail her. I get the settlement, she gets the contaminated face cream

Jana asks all of it, Ditto from Jeffery. Seems awfully suspicious that he is giving up his trump card.

Kevin gives Jeffery a Lava-Java extreme on the house to celebrate his departure from GC. Notice he made it go. Jeff says considerate as always. He is waiting on his mother, did she call him. Kevin says to email his offer. Cash on the barrel, add an exchange for the C-R-E-A-M. He will make sure Gloria get it. Jana tells him that Jabot called him. Kevin say this it and goodbye. By see ya, he hopes he doesn't as he goes.
Jana says Jeffery. He asks if she has something to add. Jana doesn't want Gloria to be hurt anymore. Her heart is broken. Did he think they are karmatically connected. Jeffery says sarcastically unlikely, she is seeing another man. Is she karmically connected to him too. Jana says she ditched that bloke. The only man she wants is him. Jeff laughs she got that wrong. Jana is quite certain of what she is telling him. So if he is sure they aren't suppose to be together during this lifetime, then he should stay away from. She knows that it's going to be hard since they both live at the club. She is there right now. Do a favor and avoid her okay. But reading between the lines, she wants to play matchmaker with those two.

Gloria find Michael at the bar, drinking. Michael announces he and Lauren are dropping the lawsuit. Gloria is proud of him and he is doing the right now. She starts babbling karma nonsense award. Michael asks what award, since they is no payout now. Gloria is talking Karma award. Michael goes oh, that. Gloria says don't treat like some silly pansy fancy of her. Michael says hat would be so like her. An enlighten Gloria realizes that the life she has been living, hasn't made her happy. She expected the universe to give her everything. But she wasn't willing to give back as much as she has taken. Michael asks now she is. Gloria thought she knew about karma but Jana has been coaching her. Michael says wonderful . What are they now. Swami for the day. Gloria says it wouldn't hurt him to purify his life too. Michael laughs and drinks. Has she considered the possibility that if good karma exists, so does bad karma. Did Jana says how much positive energy she has to expend up for the upteempth years. You could hear the bitterness in his voice, for the pain Gloria caused him in th past. Gloria know she has made a lot of mistakes, but that doesn't mean that she shouldn't change.
Michael says fresh start, yada ...

Kevin wants to toast to an amazing Summer without steppappy. Lauren says cheers to that! A skeptical Michael finds it hard that he would walk away! Kevin says not like he is leaving empty handed. Lauren says he was always in for the bucks. A skeptical Michael asks why would he willing to give them the cream. Why would he give up his one triumph card. Lauren says he is probably sick of the whole thing, she is. Jana says they are both in love with other..star crossed lovers. Michael wants to be VOR. It's kind of Jana to the karma side of pond, but it will not change a thing(plus it is getting a little annoying) Lauren says it might. Kevin says no harm in trying.

Gloria selfish and vindictive, predictable. Gloria runamuck spreading goodwill to this and other plain of existence. Unpredictable. And that friends and family, can not be a good thing
