Phyllis and Nick do their good morning next. Amber tells them that they look happy. Phyllis announces it's their first anniversary. Daniel and Amber wishes them congratulations. Phyllis wish that he had it with him before he boarded the Newman jet. Ditto for Nick. Phyllis didn't think that they have a lot of anniversaries, so... Nick asks if she is kidding him? Seriously?? They're going to have like a hundred. But this is a reminder that he is always going find his way back to her. Ah, Nick is so sweet here. It was a touching moment as Phyllis hugged him.

She is happy to see picture of framed kids drawing. A moved Phyllis says this is great. Her one-year-old could draw this. Nick says she is did, She want him to interpret its hidden meaning? Phyllis says go ahead. Nick says in like this area, it says, 'To Mom and Dad, what a first year. And over here, it's more like, 'I love you more than there are stars in the sky and I always will." Phyllis notes that's great. Their daughter, she is an artist and a scholar. Apparently. Nick agrees.
Nick was really creative with the anniversary gift. And I thought the scenes with Phick were very special and romantic. But Nick should have done at home, where it was more appropriate than the work place.

Jack tells Jason that the ball is his court. Jason says they lots of airline shops, outdoor newsstands. Space is limited. Who is he supposed to drop? Jack suggest to find room for them. They're quality. Quality is always going to find a market. Jason states that quality that impresses him is his partnership with TGVN. Now, he's a big fish. Why isn't he spelling that out publicly? Jack explains that he isn't his partner, Nick Newman is. Jason asks who's that? The old man's son? Jack tells TGVN is yesterday. Nick is tomorrow. Whose star does he want to be hitched to? Sharon hugs Jack tightly when he comes in. Jack thought he heard someone come in earlier. Wow. he is going to come home early more often. Hey, what's going on? A relieved Sharon is just glad he is home. Jack asks and? An emotional Sharon just had to get out of the office because she couldn't take anymore of the anniversary. Jack is sorry that he left her alone. An upset Sharon expresses it bothers her that it bothers her. Because she is happy with her life and with him It just, the whole thing just reminded her of what happened back then.
Jack asks that their happiness came at their expense? Sharon thinks they really shouldn't call it an "affair." I mean, an affair? That's a happy thing. That's something you cater and you buy a new dress for. This was two people running around cheating after the worst thing possible had happened. Jack has been thinking about Cassie a lot lately. A pained Sharon states it's been almost 3 years. "And what did Nick do? Did he turn to me? No, he turned to another woman. And... I just have no idea why that still bothers me so much. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I'm getting maudlin. I could just feel Sharon's raw emotional pain just spilling out. Such a realistic moment that Nick/Phyllis anniversary opens old wounds for Sharon.

Ah, that is most sweetest thing that Jack has every said to Sharon. He is truly her rock today.
Jack suggest that he calls the office? They're not going back in there. They'll stay home, take it easy. They'll go out to dinner tonight and celebrate each other. It was wonderful as Sharon said she loves him. Jack was the best as he said, "And that makes me the happiest man in the world." They kiss, very romantic. I really love these two together. And I think that Sharon is much better off with Jack.

Alone a poor Jack says "Dad? Where are you? Come on. Is this still about Gloria? My god, you can hold a grudge. Where are you? Dad." Poor Jack, he misses his Dad so much. But we certainly don't need to see something.
But it was too eerie as we see Alistair knocking at the door as he says those words.
Jack opens the door. Alistair says to forgive the intrusion, but he needed to convey his thanks to..It cracked me up as Jack slammed the door on him by saying that he got a phone call, that he is waiting for. Afterwards Jack think that John must have enjoyed that one, laughing his angel wings off. Fooled by his own chicanery.

Katherine is so glad that Blue Dot came? How is she? Amber is good, she missed her. Things at RS. They're good, but crazed. She heard the news about Cane and Lily, that she is having a baby. Katherine goes oh, Amber. Amber rambles on that first it threw him but Daniel and her talked about it and she s good. She thinks they are going to be good parents. Katherine breaks the news that Lily lost the baby. Amber looks really sad to hear that.

Kay explains that Phillip, her second husband in the photo. The Blue Dot thinks he is handsome.
Katherine agree, then notes it would've been their, 47th anniversary. Amber says that's amazing. Katherine says

Amber asks how'd they meet? Katherine explains he was her husband Gary, college friend, so they became friends. Amber asks how did they go from friendship to wedded bliss? Katherine says after Gary died, they saw a great deal of each other. He would escort her to various social functions and charity balls and such. Amber asks if they were just buds then, too? Katherine states until one very boring dinner party and he passed her this note that said, meet him under this big old oak tree out by the lake. Anyway, when she arrived, there he was. He had prepared a picnic supper by candlelight. I agree with Amber that was so romantic. Katherine explains that is when he first kissed her. She fell in love. Amber ask did he? Katherine likes to think so, yes. Amber asks does he think that two people can stay together for years and years and years and still love each other? Katherine really does. It's not the same way they loved each other in the beginning. Because everything was so new and exciting, but only with, the depth that time can bring. Amber asks if she still miss him? Katherine says every day. Amber wants that so bad. Katherine realizes it scares her? To really commit to Daniel? Amber says when she was a kid, she either had a new boyfriend or no boyfriend. You know, she'd meet a guy and she'd be like, "bam!" You know, and all of a sudden they were together and she thought it was forever. And although her mother's forever usually lasted about a week, and then she'd spend the other three weeks crying in her beer, so she figured why try? Katherine tells her that she will never know if she doesn't take a chance. Amber points out if you take the chance, then you take the risk of getting your heart broken. Katherine wants her to listen to her now.

When you get old-- when you get old, you want to be able to say, "I have lived well, lived life to its fullest." No ifs, no what could've been.

Good advice
Katherine says risk be damned! Just let herself love, let herself love completely. That's what she has to do.

Daniel ask how is Mrs. C? Amber wishes she was her grandma. Thank goodness, she isn't. Amber relates that she actually had some sad news, though. Daniel asks what's the sad news? Amber informs that Lily lost her baby. A stunned Daniel says no. Amber feels feel terrible. Daniel wonder if he should he call her? What's the right thing to do here? Amber thinks it'd easy for her if they just don't say anything at all. Daniel says she is probably right. Is she?? Maybe Lily talking to Daniel might be a good thing.
Daniel means if she wants to tell people, she'll let them know, right? Amber say she's got a lot of people to help her through it, so... Daniel says that's a good thing. He should probably go catalogue these proofs. Dinner tonight? The Blue Dot says sure. She says wait. One more little thing. He knows her universal remote? She still can't figure it out. Daniel points out that he showed her how to use that thing every time he is over. Amber knows, but then he leaves and it just, like, flies out of her brain. Daniel will write down some instructions for her. Amber, making excuses, says his handwriting, it's...
Daniel will then print it out on the computer.
Amber isn't going be able to figure it out. Just, it's better if he do it. Daniel points out he isn't there all the time to do it for her. A manipulative Blue Dot says see, that's a problem. Because she need her late night infomercial fix, like, every night. Daniel laughs. He isn't fooled, he know she is asking him to move in. But it's pathetic that she loses that lame excuse to get him to move in. You know, Katherine gives alot good advice to Amber, but she never uses it.

Jill is surprised to see Cane at work today? Cane says Darlinger account. Jill suggests that somebody else can can handle that account if he wants to be with Lily. Cane scoffs that she spent the night at her Dad's, and he hasn't heard from her yet, so... Jill is so sorry. Listen to her, just give her time, okay? Do not take this personally. She's in denial. I felt for poor Cane saying it kills him that he just can't fix this.
Jill is right that he need time, too. Jill informs that Felicia Forrester called and they want Lily back in L.A. For another shoot. Cane retort no, she can't do that. Send someone else.
Jill points out that they have a relationship with her already. Cane knows that's going to be up to Lily then, isn't it? Jill asks does he think she is going to want to continue modeling?
Lily interrupts by stating absolutely. Chloe called and she is ready to work. What does he think of her outfit? Cane is sweet by saying that she looks beautiful. Lily says thanks as she kisses his cheek. Cane was just saying to Mum that they can send another model if he wants. Jill states she is entitled to some time off.
Lily replies that the doctor said she can resume normal activities and that means work. So just tell her when and where.

Lily orders the green salad with no dressing and then a water with lemon. Cane tells the waitress that he is going to need a little more time, thanks. Afterwards he says that a little protein wouldn't hurt. Lily retorts not being able to fit into the gowns at the photo shoot will. Cane says she doesn't have to do this one. Why doesn't she take the time off? Lily tells Cane that he thinks it's really sweet that he is concerned, but she has never felt better. A worried Cane says they just lost a baby. Lily says it wasn't one yet. Cane was right to them, it was. I also agree that it's not healthy pretending that there's no pain there. You can see Lily is shutting out her pain as she said that she doesn't want to talk about it. Talking doesn't make me feel better. It makes her feel worse.
Hmm, but keeping it inside, is much worse, IMHO. Lily's cell phone and it's Felicia. She tells her that she is glad that everything worked out, too. Okay, she will just get the schedule from Chloe then. Yeah, yeah, she is really looking forward to it, too. Thanks. Poor Cane looks concerned at Lily. And he should, she is shuting him out.. just like Nick did with Sharon.

That was her darling late husband Phillip. It was love at first sight. Alistair says how lovely. And does she also believe that John Abbott was the true love of Gloria's life?
LOL as Katherine said that Gloria would certainly say so yes.I would say no! But it's very sad. "Most often, love stories never end the way we want them." True, especially on soap opera!

Gloria asks what on earth is he talking about? Alistair drops the bombshell that Jeffery is living with Jill. She looks totally stunned.
Gloria retorts that Jeffrey did not move in with Jill. She is sure he misunderstood. Alistair bluntly saw it with her own eyes. He was visiting Katherine, he descended the stairs, dressed rather inappropriately he may say, and announced for the world to hear that he was Jill's guest.
Gloria looks to be in pain as she sighs. Alistair realizes it is quite clear to her now why he has come to GC It had nothing to do with haunting. He is supposed to be here to offer her solace when her time of need is there. Do she think? Well, I think that he is here to annoy me LOL. I can't stand his Gloria worship(groan)
Gloria coldly states that she think that son of a bitch isn't going to get away with this.

He came downstairs, that would be their stairs, in our home, this morning, in a state of undress. Jill says he is staying in the guest room, you know? Katherine asks why? Jill replies that he needs a friend to talk to, okay? Which is very good for them, because we can find out what's going on with Gloria. Katherine thought that Alistair was on that. Jill scoffs that he is. On the other hand, we can use Jeff for something. Jill states that he got be comfortable, okay? Because the more he is, the more likely he is to let his guard down. And when he does, they'll be there.

It's not a big surprise it's Gloria at the door. She will just the leave the reports on the desk for Jill. She is sure she'll find.. She says it's fancy seeing him there. He looks very home here.
Jeff says very much so. It must be quite a shock to see him here? A snarky Gloria says it's really none of her business. But she does hear that Jill's very good at picking up strays. She slams the files on the table. Jeff retorts that Jill's very good at a lot of things. Glad he traded up.
She sneers

If she is dumb enough to be taken in by you, she deserves everything she gets.

After the meeting, TGVN dismisses everyone but Adam and Victoria. Victor has reviewed the acquisition proposal for green clean. But the benefits of this company coming under the Newman umbrella are pretty obvious. Victor agrees. Victoria retorts she doesn't. Adam did his homework. She did hers, as well. The company may be green, but there are a lot of grey areas in the latest stockholder report. She is sorry that he missed that

TGVN says this is very good work, indeed But it will not be part of Beauty of Nature. He approve the deal. Adam looks pleased. Victoria advises him not to rush into this. You never chase a trend. Lily comes off the elevator and Karen asks how is she? Lily does, she is fine. Karen bets she is sick of that question. Is she also sick of people asking you what they can do to help? A guilty Lily just wants to say she is really sorry that it messed up your relationship with her dad. Karen assures her that it didn't. Lily insists it did. Her Dad denied it, too, but she got pregnant and she moved out. Karen is right that she can't blame it on that. You know, she and Dad just realized that they're not ready to live together, that's all. Lily says to be to honest with her, she think that she is really good for him(too good). And she think that he's good for her, too, so she really hope it works out. Lily was very sweet to say that. But right now, I don't want together after the way Neil treated her.

Victoria bluntly asks Adam if he feeling proud of himself. Adam states this is going to be a great addition to Newman's portfolio. Victoria retorts that is such a load. He is walking around here like he won some kind of a contest or something.
Adam states she tried to set him up and failed. That's got to hurt. Victoria informs that TGVN feels guilty about ignoring him when he was a little boy, so he's bending over backwards to make it up to him. Does it make him feel more loved when he burns good money on his vanity project? Adam asks if she knows what his problem is? She can't handle competition. Victoria states she has outlasted far better than him.
Adam laughs, "who? Your brother? Yeah, right. That guy's not in your league." Okay, that was funny and a bit true when Nick was at NE LOL

I, on the other hand, am quite a different story.

True!! He got her there. Victoria has never tried to undermine her co-workers like he does with her!
Victoria can't wait to see him fall from Grace. And trust her, he will. Amen to that!! I can't wait to see that day.
Neil enters and realizes that he is interrupting, he'll come back. Adam says no need. They're done. Neil goes Whew-ee! What's going on? Family squabble? Victoria is right, more like a war. What's his opinion of him? Neil thinks that Adam is very bright, talented, he brings a lot to the table. Victoria rants really? Then how does he explain the acquisition Adam just got approved? It's for a natural cleaning products company. I can just see the commercials. "Oh, goodie! Now my toilet bowl cleaner and my perfume match!" ROFTL! Victoria's mocking is very funny here.
Neil reminds her that her Dad will hold him to the same standard he holds everyone else. Make money or else.

At the elevator, Adam go to thank him again, sir, for approving this new deal. Victor thinks it was the right decision. Adam states that Victoria disagrees. Victor informs that he make it a success, he promise you she'll come around. The he warns him "If it fails, however, you have both of us to answer to." LOL. I kind hope that Adam will fall flat on his feet and have to eat humble pie.

Karen informs Neil that she saw Lily today. She looks better than yesterday. Neil says maybe. But it was so rude as he said he doubt she would open up to her. Karen retorts that she does. Neil asks if she remembers the bracelet. She left this in the bathroom. Karen thanks him glumly, then takes it as TGVN enters. He greets Karen, as she exits.
Victor informs so Adam is making a new acquisition. He'd like him to keep an eye on things. Neil says absolutely. He just, heard about it. He asks how does he say this? Speaking as an executive, his daughter might feel alienated enough to look for opportunities elsewhere.

I think it's too late, I think it's already happen. Victoria worked hard for Victor(IMHO) but she got shoved aside again as he favored another Golden Boy(Adam)

In the breakroom, a cocky Adam hums as he brags to Victoria that tell her acquiring a new company parches her throat. He grabs a bottle of water. Victoria, looking very tired and miserable, retorts, so does eating crow. Adam laughs, as he lightly nudges her on the shoulder. I think he enjoys his rivalry with Victoria and so do I
Victoria flashback to Nick say, "You know, I forgot how amazing life can be if you actually enjoy going into your job."
Victor enters and asks if she would like to have dinner tonight? Victoria tells him that she needs to get home to Reed. She then snaps,

Why don't you ask Adam? I'm sure he's available.

Good going, Victor. You just drove away another kid of yours by playing favorites
