(sniff) Poor Traci, what devastating news for her to receive that her only daughter is gone! Beth Maitland knocked her performance out the ballpark today! She gave such a raw emotional heart wrenching acting that just teared me up! I just wanted to hug her. Like Traci, I didn't want to believe the news either that our Colleen is brain dead(sniff). I hate that Y&R is doing this! Like I said before, couldn't they just sent her out of town!

CL--In the patio area, Gloria is on the payphone reading the paper out loud to Jeffery that Colleen was unconscious when EMT arrived. She tells him, who would have thought that she would show up at the cabin and end up being Patty's hostage? She is reading that TGVN suffered 3 critical gunshot wounds inflicted by former Jabot and RS employee MJ also known as Patty. If Patty does decide to bust them for kidnapping her, at least in jail, they'll have a roof over our heads and something to eat. She is desperate. She begs him, no to hang up. She whines that she doesn't have another quarter. As usual, it’s all about her and no worry that Colleen may die thanks to her!

Kevin gives her odd look, afterwards, she asks if he needs something. Kevin replies, a reality check, maybe. Did he just see her, a germaphobe for anything touched by the masses, using a public pay phone? LOL!!! Gloria states that the cell phone was giving her a headache. Kevin asks, is that why she looks like she has been hit by a semi? LOL. Gloria admits, she got dressed kind of in a hurry this morning. ROFTL as Kevin sniffs around her. Thanks for the comic relief He adds, put on yesterday's clothes? And what is that all over her skin? Some sort of dye? LOL Gloria lies, it was just an early Easter egg project, but he doesn't buy it. Gloria bluntly says, if he wants the truth? She is broke and got nothing. She has lost everything. She doesn't have cell phone service, laundry service and electricity. The Bardwells are squatters in Phyllis' penthouse. And they couldn't pay the utility bills, so they got no water. So, yes, she is bathing in public restrooms when she can find one, and a janitor in a nail salon. Oh, poor Gloria, not! Don't feel sorry for her for that selfish bitch. The Abbotts are suffering 10 times worse due to Colleen's condition! She only got what deserved being broke. She deserves much more!

Hospital--Paul asks how did surgery go? Nick informs that he's still in it. And Abby is with Colleen. Paul will head in there himself and see if there's any news. Paul says, if it's any more about the connection between TGVN and his sister.. Vicki informs, it's about Nikki. She hasn't had any communication with her since she left town, and neither has Kay. She really needs to be here. If anyone can find her, though, it's him. Paul will see, what he can do. Afterwards, Nick asks if TGVN will be okay with that? Vicki knows, he will. He needs her. I was very moved as she invited a teary face Paul to join them. that Colleen can use all the prayers she can get. What a good woman He takes her hand warmly and thanks her.DD and BM, just wonderful here She continues that "We ask that our beautiful daughter, our sister, our friend opens up her eyes and comes back to us really soon. In your name we pray." Sniff, I was brought to tears here with her moving prayer.

CL--Gloria explains that she lost her money in the Cayman Island, when it went belly-up, and Jeffrey and her had to come back on a cattle boat. Kevin snickers and realizes she is serious. LOL. Does that mean that all the money she got from VN for that very pricey 5% of jabot stock, the gold mine that they were supposed to share is gone? Gloria confesses, every last dime, that's why he needs her help. Kevin scoffs, what happened to her partner in crime? Gloria retorts, Jeffery. Comes up with one get-rich scheme after another. This is the kind that actually stands for something real, because that's what Daniel and her have, and as soon as he's back with that painting, he is history. Deacon states if he takes that painting to the museum and tries to collect the reward, and knowing Daniel, he will, the paltry sum that they'll give him, that won't even cover a year's rent on that dump that he calls a loft. An annoyed Jana clarifies an artist's loft, if he doesn't mind. Deacon goes, whatever. LOL. This isn't going to provide her with the kind of life that she has always wanted, the kind of life that he can give her. They're talking private jets, servants, umbrella drinks on the beach. Amber points out, there'd be one major glitch he would be part of the package. LOL as Deacon goes ouch! Amber states that he told Daniel that he would let her go if he brought that Terroni back in 72 hours. A deal is a deal, and he is going to have to stick to it. I was very touched as Traci inquired about Patty. Paul states, she doesn't have to ask about her. Traci points out that, she's his sister. A pained Paul knows that he should have done something to stop her. Traci scoffs, none of this is his fault. Jack states, if they are looking to lay blame here, he is guilty as anyone. Paul just wishes he knew what happened in that cabin. Patty has no memory at this point. She is so lost, she can't even put two words together. Jack reveals, when Patty found him at the lake, she said Colleen was going for help. Paul updates them about her very serious spider bite. Traci declares that's it. That's why Colleen was going for help. Her girl was trying to save his sister's life. Traci is allowed one more minute before Colleen is taken to radiology. In the lobby, the Doc explains that the bullet fragments caused quite a bit of damage to the left ventricle. They had to remove a significant portion of it. Nick asks if he can he live like that? Doc replies, yes. Now there'll be less muscle to pump the blood and have to monitor him closely, make sure no complications arise. They will let him know more in a couple of hours. Afterwards, Nick states, that TGVN has survived worse than this. Vicki worries, but if his heart can't do its job Nick knows that he is going to make it. Billy(with Ashley/Adam) got here as fast as he could. Nick updates them that surgery is almost over and he is hanging in there. JT updates Ashley that the E.E.G. Showed some brain activity, but, unfortunately, that might not mean anything. Ashley excuses herself and hugs a upset Traci

Hospital Chapel--Billy tells Mac, it's been a long 12 hours. She asks, what can she do? A pained Billy asks if she can turn back time? Or make it so that he didn't suggest to Ceecee that she goes to that cabin? Mac is right, that isn't his fault. She is sure everyone's feeling guilty right now. Billy replies not TGVN. He knows it sounds horrible, but, when he heard TGVN went into surgery, he really was hoping that he wasn't going to come through. But then he thought about Nick, Vick and Abby and know what it's like to lose a father, and doesn't want that for them. Mac hugs him and Billy rolls his eyes. He doesn't look that comforted to me

Ashley admits, none of this seems real. Traci knows it. Ashley decides to check if TGVN is out of recovery. A grateful Traci, wanted to thank Ashley for sitting with her. After what happened at Jack's house before, she wasn't sure if Ash would even talk to her again. She starts crying Poor Traci Ashley is right that none of that matters and hugs her. The shallow twit, smiling Abby arrives, and is so glad she is here. Abby got Colleen something to cuddle when she got up, and thought TGVN might like one. Ashley finds it sweet and sure he will. Steve and Traci decide to go wait inside. Paul is going to be heading out, but not seeing Patty. He tells Jack that Vicki asked him to find Nikki. A startled Ashley overhears and asks that he is looking for Nikki?
Paul inquires, did she tell her where she was going? Ashley flashbacks about telling Adam that she hit Nikki. She quickly says she doesn't know anything. Jack looks puzzled and curious as she runs out.

Hospital--Billy just left Mac at the chapel, who is going to call Kay and give her an update. Traci hopes that they'll have good news to give everyone really soon. Vicki updates Abby about TGVN's condition. Traci notes that Nick and her must be very relieved. She is such a class act, isn't she?? Vicki came by to check on Colleen. Just then she is wheeled in and Traci grills the orderlies about her. Billy just wants to know, if she passed the test or not. The orderly guy states that they will have to wait on the doctor. Billy hates these places. Traci is sure that everything is just fine. An awkward Vicki tells Colleen that she just wanted to come by and tell her that, they're all pulling for her. So just come back and let them show how much

Nick is watching Victor sleep as Adam enters. He is sure that he hasn't eaten since they brought him in. He suggests relieving him, so he can get a bite. Nick isn't hungry. Adam whines that he is his Dad. Nick then exits. Adam puts the bag down. He brought some things for him-- The Syrian empire book, robe, and slippers. He need to feel comfortable while he recovers. Once he is back on his feet, the nightmares will begin again.Wicked He didn't work his ass off all these months to bring him down to have him miss the big finale. He didn't sell his soul the night of Ashley's accident to have him fade away without fanfare, so don't even think about checking out. Vindictive Crazy Bastard!! BTW, he sold his soul before that incident! He need to see how right he was about his bad seed son. It's a shame, too, because he actually, he didn't mind getting these things for him today. There's nobody else he can talk to right now. Vicki and him had some problems lately, and. Mac is sorry. A pained JT says, it's just sitting there festering between them. Or now, he doesn't even know if it matters. Victor could die. So could colleen. JT is so torn here, poor guy He chuckles that she used to give her a hard time about always riding to her rescue Said she was going to give me a suit of armor and make him wear it around town. He is just glad after everything they've been through that, he could be there for her. Too bad it wasn't when she needed him the most. In the waiting area, Jack notes that she seemed kind of upset earlier when, Paul mentioned Nikki.
Ashley was just surprised, that nobody's heard from her, and she hasn't been in touch with anybody. Jack is sure they’ll hear from her once she finds out what happened to TGVN. She wants to know what happened TGVN and Patty? Jack states, it was exactly as he told her. TGVN found Patty, helped her with extensive plastic surgery, helped her create a whole new identity, created MJ, all as a means to get back a him. Ashley points out but instead, Patty ended up hurting Colleen and Summer. Jack adds her. Ashley doesn't understand, though. If TGVN created her, then why did she want to shoot him? Jack replies, she didn't. Those bullets were intended for him. In fact, he'd be dead right now if TGVN hadn't stepped in the line of fire. He guesses he could say "the moustache" saved his life. Did he??Adam reports TGVN is out of recovery. She can see him now.

Not if you go to police or FBI. That might end this stupid story much faster than the Scooby gang making things worse Amber asks, if she is trying to make him throw up? Kevin doesn't want that, either, but the last thing he wants is for his mom to make this situation any worse. Daniel suggests, maybe the trick is just not to tell her. If they can figure out a way to get Gloria to open up the box without actually telling her what's inside of it.

Hospital--In the Chapel, a nervous Ashley can't do it. She isn't ready to face TGVN. Adam knows how upset he is at finding out he's behind this whole Patty mess.. Ashley retorts, it's not just that. It's about Nikki. Paul's looking for her for Vicki, after overhearing Jack. He's not going to stop until he does, or at least until he finds evidence that says what happened to her. Adam points out, there is no evidence. Just a small dent in a fender. They can't even be sure that it was Nikki that she hit. True Adam is sure and everywhere she turns, she is reminded of her. Now, she is starting to hear her voice now, just like she heard Sabrina's. Sheesh, she is sounding crazy again And is afraid that it's going to get worse and worse and worse just like it did with Sabrina, and then it's going to happen like he said it would. They're going to lock her up, and going to have the baby behind bars. Adam wants to get her out of here. Ashley needs to see TGVN. Adam retorts that she just said-- She knows what she said! What if something happens to him? Adam will stay because she is. What a good friend..not! She is a fool for trusting him

They've decided that they're going to stay in GC, and take care of her while she recovers. And we're all going to be together again, like a family. Dr. Snyder wants to talk outside. Traci would really rather not leave her. And besides, everyone here's family. Jack asks, what did the test show? Doc Snyder says, there's no easy way to say this. While the E.E.G. Did show activity, the C.B.F. Confirmed without question that her daughter is brain-dead.

A crying Traci doesn't believe it. Dr. Snyder is so very sorry. She insists that the test is wrong. The Doc has have just made a mistake. Steve cries out, "No, god. No." Traci snaps, don't say that. She is going to make it through this. Her daughter is not brain-dead. Doc Snyder states as she said, false positives are common in E.E.G.S, which is why she ordered the C.B.F. It's more accurate. Billy angrily asks, then why even bother taking the first test. He rants that not one "you damn doctors," knows what the hell they're doing. They can't even come up with the same findings twice. Dr. Snyder assures him. Billy interupts to save it! Thanks, appreciates it and slams the door, with Mac looking concerned. I thought Billy had a realistic anger here Traci cries, it's just not true. That's all. She can't be gone. Steve ask, if they could give them a moment as poor Traci sobs? Doc Snyder is very sorry. She pleads to Colleen that she knows that she is in there. Nick, tells Jack that he is so sorry. Dr. Swift comes out and tell Nick that his father seems to be responding well to the procedure. His blood pressure and heart rate are normal. An angry Jack asks, if he is kidding him? His beautiful niece loses her life, and that bastard gets another shot? Paul and Nick have to restrain him back into entering TGVN's room. Jack rants if anyone deserves to die, it's him! He caused this Jack's anger toward Victor is justifed here. I would feel the same way if I was him Nick wants a crying Abby to see Colleen.
