She asks, what happening? We hear the announcement that the building in now in lockup and to return to their rooms immediately. A "naive" Adam says, apparently, someone escaped, and they're going to stay in lockdown until they find him or her. Ashley informs that this baby isn’t not going to wait. She got to get to a hospital. Adam tells him, that's just not an option as Ashley has another contraction. Adam tells her to stay calm. Ashley retorts, that he got to stay calm. He has to deliver this baby as she moans

A pained Sharon cries out, it's too early. Her and the baby aren't ready! Dr. Taylor asks if she has done Lamaze? Sharon replies, before. Not this time. WTH??? She should have He asks if she remembers, the breathing exercises? Sharon stresses, she needs to be in a hospital where they can monitor her baby's heart rate and in a sterile environment, not here. ExactlyThe frustrated doctor realizes that he got nothing to give her for the pain. Sharon is stunned! But he assures that he has done this a lot of times before. They've got plenty of hot water and towels. He'll make everything as sterile and clean as he possibly can. Sharon cries out, please promise her baby's going to be okay.

Adam wants Ashley to stay calm, but she is scared. She was going to give birth in a hospital with Dr. Taylor by her side. What if something happens to her? He said she could take these she got agitated. Ashley worries, what about the baby, she can't take anything. Adam claims that was the first question that he asked him? Ashley can't risk it! Kay gets a call from Nikki. She updates the group that Nikki is at the hospital with TGVN. She has to go ASAP! On her way out, she tells Jill that they will discuss her start date. Afterwards, Jill whines, it's pretty predictable, isn't it? She says she wanted to be here, but then Nikki calls, and she just shows her true colors? Sheesh, jealous muchNina is right, that's not really fair. She's been worried sick about not being able to reach Nikki for weeks now. Chance, can attest to that. Every second she has, she's on the phone trying to track her down. A jealous Jill points out this isn't the first time? This has become a pattern over the years. Nikki calls, and Katherine just drops everything. But it's not surprising, considering that she's the daughter Katherine always wished she had. Not this again, groan. STHU Jill) Nina asks, why does she do this? Act like Katherine going to help a friend is all about dissing her. It's not. She came to her birthday. She sang the song and gave her a gift. Kay wants her to come back to work for her. If that doesn't show that she cares, she doesn't know what does. Neither do I! Phillip agrees with her. How can she expect Kay to think that Jill want her in her life when she react to something like a silly phone call like that? Not that he is one to talk, with his history. Jill agrees. Was Jack watching a different show than us?? Billy points out, from a woman that TGVN hired to go after him! His showing up and playing the hero was less about saving him and more about covering his own ass. Amen!! I couldn't have said it better myself Mac goes Billy! Billy is right, it's true. TGVN knows that everybody in this town has figured out his connection to that wack job. Jack tells him, it's more than that. There's also Ashley. He convinced Ashley to have herself committed. Nikki joins her rest of her kids in Victor's room. Nick informs that Vick is just trying to embarrass him with stories from her youth. Vicki asks, does she remember how Nick wanted a live mastodon when he was little. Nikki informs that his father almost had one built at the ranch for him to play on. Nick didn't know that.
Nikki says, there's a lot he didn't know. But it's not too late for Summer and Reed if he want to still build it. Victor, would love to see his grandchildren play. Nick confesses, speaking of grandchildren, there's something they both should know. He wasn't going to tell anyone until he talked to Phyllis first, but he trust they can keep this under wraps. They are going to be grandparents again. Turns out that Sharon's baby is his after all. Nikki is happy for him. She knows that's what he wanted. A glad Victor remarks, another Newman... that makes him happy. And I think that what Nick was trying to give him that by telling him the truth. But Phyllis will be pissed that she is the last one to know

In the lounge, Nikki is updating Michael on the phone that Colleen is their only hope(No, there is another. I wish(sigh) Kay arrives and the ladies hug. Nikki hated that she was so worried. Kay informs that her and Vicki were very upset. Days turned into weeks, and no one heard anything from her, and after what she has been through, it was very difficult not to think the worst. Nikki is so sorry. She send letters to the ranch for everybody.. But apparently, they were never received. Why not call the courier company and see who signed for them.She is sorry. It just took her a lot longer to get her head straightened out than she thought it would. Kay asks how is her head now that she is back? Nikki sighs, ow instead of worrying that she'll ever make peace with TGVN, she worries each time that she see him it will be the last. Kay asks, what does the doctor say? Nikki replies, if he doesn't get a new heart soon, he's not going to make it. So Michael is working overtime trying to find a donor, but so far, nothing. Then, of course, there's Colleen. Kay remarks, that's tragic. Nikki states, it's horrible, which is why she hated even asking Traci to consider giving Colleen's heart to TGVN Really?? She couldn't wait to fly over there like a vulture Kay gasps, if she had spoken to her? Nikki says, all of the Abbotts. It's been a very long time since she has fought for anything on TGVN's behalf. A puzzled Kay, asks, why was she fighting at all? Where was Ashley?

He knows, it sounds bad, but they're probably better off. Mac reminds him that he said that Colleen wanted to be a donor. That means she wanted to help someone. ITA with Billy that not to TGVN. John reminds him, when he was a kid, she never made a move without her big brother's approval. She still values his opinion. Jack says, if only he had one. John states, not very difficult. Jack asks, why? Because "the moustache" is involved? John knows, there is no question that Newman has committed serious crimes against their family. Jack admits, which is why his first instinct when Nikki walked in asking for Colleen's heart was to say, "no way in hell!" John points out, this isn't just about him. He's Ashley's husband, Abby's father. Angry Jack scoffs, that didn't stop him from putting the screws to Abby's sister and Ashley's niece.
John says, when he had a chance to let him die, he risked his own life to save his. Bangs head LOL Jack thinks, maybe Billy was right. Maybe the only reason he was out to that lake was to save his own life. John says, could be. Jack says, excruciating as it was to lose a son, knowing that his life wasn't pointless, that another child could live because of him, it made it more bearable. John asks, if he is saying that keeping Newman alive wouldn't generate the same feelings? A livid Jack says, they both know what he's done to Ashley. Now he's brought his unstable ex-wife to town to basically murder him.. And in the process, his niece Colleen is--
John doesn't need a laundry list of reasons to hate TGVN. Jack asks if he agrees, that world's a better place without him? John doubts if his family would agree with that. Jack says he is telling him, they should let TGVN live? John states, it doesn't matter what he is telling him
Jack spits out, damn it! He needs answers. John replies damn it, he doesn't have those answers. Now he has got to look inside himself and consider this very carefully and figure out what's right. A conflicted Jack doesn't know what is right(John is gone) He promised him, he would look out for the Abbott family, and protect them. "Look at us, all of us-- we're in pain, we're miserable." Hospital--Nick doesn't know what kills him more-- the fact that he could die, or that his daughter almost died because of him.I like Y&R showing that Nick is still angry toward his father Vicki thinks in his own way, she was trying to say he was sorry. But he never did Nick retorts, doesn't change what happened to Summer, or make him forget that it happened. Vicki understands. Nick feels awful that he is holding a grudge. This could be their last hour with him. Vicki isn't saying that he should let dad off the hook, but right now, he needs to feel that his family is at peace with him. Nick agrees. Vicki thought he seemed happy about Sharon's baby. How does you feel about it? Nick confesses, he loves that little girl so much. She's not even here yet. And he is committed to raising her, but not leaving Summer and Phyllis. Kay knocks and asks, if she is interrupting? Nick says, no, of course not. Vicki informs that Victor is still pretty weak. Kay says, Nikki told her about Colleen. Heard any word yet if Traci's agreed to donate her heart to victor? Nick replies, nothing yet. Kay tells her dear friend to listen. He knows, how much she hate disappearing acts, so don't he get any grand ideas. Vicki will give them a chance to catch up. Kay thanks them, as they exit. Nikki knows, but they know the kind of influence he has have on her, just as they both know how difficult this decision is because of the baby they lost. Jack was just thinking about that. Nikki remarks, that was a powerful moment when he held that other baby and knew that a part of their would live on through him. Jack retorts, it was different and anonymous. It wasn't Victor, who as he remembers, was the reason they lost the child. Nikki sighs, same vendetta. Jack could end that vendetta right now by convincing Traci not to do this transplant. Nikki asks, to couldn't he to get past the fact that it's Victor and just look at it as a human being who has a family who loves him and relies on him? Please, just try to find it in his heart to get past this war and look at it as a selfless act that his family can--can give a man in need. Jack retorts, just take Victor out of the equation? Adam spins some lie that the nurse came in here. She had a, master key and she was doing a head count, and she saw the baby and wanted to take it away and just check it out. Ashley asks, if she is all right. Adam lies, she is perfect! She wants to see. Adam lies again that she can after, lockdown's over. Ashley doesn't remember delivering her, Adam. Adam claims, that's strange. She was awake throughout the whole thing. She was in a lot of pain, though, and then and once the baby came, she passed out. Ashley nailed it, when she said, doesn't look like the baby was born in this room, not at all. Adam continues with his bull that he cleaned up after the nurse left, so. Ashley knows, something doesn't feel right. She wants to see her baby right.

They both know that there are thousands of people out there who deserve Colleen's heart more than VN. Mac is right, but that's not up for him to decide. Billy states that old man time is up. "I say get him a bucket, let him kick it." ROFTL! Mac points out that he is a human being!Well, I could debate that at times LOL Billy argues, he's not a human, he is the reason Colleen is dead. That makes him a murderer, and think that he needs to rot in hell.

Mental Institution--Sharon cries out in pain. "Nick" He tells her that he can see her. Just one more big push, and Faith is going to be in her Daddy's arms. We hear the baby crying. Nick tells she’s here and she did it! Sharon happily, says she is here. Her baby is here.

Ashley knows that he is lying to her Something happened to her baby, and he is afraid to tell her. Adam lies that he is telling her the truth. The baby is fine. Why doesn't she have a pill and relax and-- Ashley snaps, she doesn't want one, but her baby! The woman announces that the lookdown has been lifted. Attendants will be coming by shortly to check the rooms. Because of the reduced staff, they ask that all patients stay put until a guard or nurse checks in with them. She starts to get up and Adam asks, what s doing? Ashley is onna go find her baby. Adam tells her she is weak and not well enough. He offers to do it!

Out in the hallway, Doc Taylor is caring the baby. He is glad that lockdown is over. He can't find a damn orderly in this place. Adam asks if this is Sharon's baby? Taylor replies, how did he know that? Adam asks, how is she? Dr. Taylor replies not good. She's unconscious and lost a lot of blood. WTH is he doing as he grabs the baby. Adam admits he is taking the baby. Doc asks if he is out of his mind! Stop it!!

Adam enters Ashley's room and presents her beatiful baby. A beaming Ashley greets her and says she is her mommy

Adam is a cruel bastard doing this to Sharon/Ashley/Nick/ and the baby. Die!! And this baby-switching plot is overused. Plus the stupidity of the writing doesn't make it believeable. Ashley's body should tell her if she had a baby. And
