St. Mary's Hospital--Sharon is so sorry. A pained Nick asks what happened. Sharon explains that her water broke. The pains started coming in a few minutes apart. Sharon thought she heard the baby cry when she was born. But the doctor said that she never took a breath. She was gone by the time she was born. Nick is sorry that she had to deal with that alone. Memorial Hospital--Billy, Traci and Steve are surprised to see Ashley. Traci says that Jack told them that she had checked into a psychiatric hospital. Ashley reveals she "had" the baby. Traci and Billy are very happy for her. Abby says, wait till they see her. She looks like a little doll. Traci bet she does. Everything's okay? Because she was premature. It's all fine?
Ashley replies, she's a little underweight, but she's strong, and she's fine. A concerned Steve asks, how is she doing? Ashley knows, it's been hard. She think a lot of what was going on with her was because of the pregnancy.No, it was Adam She is feeling more like her old self.
So apparently, giving "birth" solves your mental problems LOL Jack think, she sounds a lot better. Ashley isn't too going to go back to the psychiatric hospital. Too bad Billy says, as long as she is well, that's what counts. Traci asks if she has seen Victor? Ashley is here to see Colleen. She is so sorry, and can't believe she's gone. Ashley says, that Jack said that the doctor's running tests to see if her heart is compatible with Victor's. Traci just got word. Victor, didn't think she would be. Vicki wants to call Dr. Swift. Adam asks if they can operate on him today. Boy, they can't wait to cut her up. Grr Abby informs them that Traci hasn't really given permission yet. Nikki asks, if she's still considering it? Abby replies, she said, she is. She can talk to her if he want her to. TGVN says, whatever her aunt decides... is all right with him.

Nikki thinks that the likelihood that TGVN/Colleen would be a match is incredible.No, it's ridiculous JT and Abby go get something to drink. Vick wants to call Nick. Vicki can't imagine what Traci must be going through. If this was happening to Reed, she doesn't know what she'd do. Vicki informs that Michael is working on other possible private donors, but it's a long shot. Nikki thinks, maybe she should speak to Traci. St. Mary's--Nick asks, why didn't she call him when she went into labor? Sharon explains the place was on lockdown, and everything happened so fast. She was relieved that there was an obstetrician there visiting another patient. He delivered the baby. She passed out. She doesn’t even remember being brought here to St. Mary's. She just woke up here. Nick says, she must have been so scared. Sharon was concerned about the baby being premature, but other than that, she had no idea there was anything else wrong. But the doctor said she had severe defects, and she never stood a chance, like the baby that they lost eight years ago. Good mention of history there
A pained Nick ask, was that eight years ago? Sharon says, at the end of this month. Nick just really thought that this baby and her were totally healthy.She was, the ultrasound proved that. Why have they forget about that. Sharon thoughts so too! Other than a little bit of morning sickness, the pregnancy was really problem-free. The baby was active, but the doctor who delivered her said that she just never stood a chance, and that's probably why she went into early labor. Nick asks, did she get to see her? A tearful Sharon says no. The doctor said he thought that would be too disturbing. And at first, she was really furious with him, but, but now she realize that was probably a blessing, because now she has this picture in her mind of their beautiful little girl. Nick sobs, he wanted to see her! Sharon is sorry, but she wasn't thinking clearly at the time, and already had her cremated. Must have been more of Taylor's lies. There is no ashes An devastated Nick, was so excited to see... this beautiful little girl they were going to have. He was wondering who she would take after. He really hope she looked like her. Sharon states, they have to accept their fate.

Memorial--`Jack suggest they give Traci and Steve some time alone? Traci will go. She needs some air... or perspective or something. Billy is sorry. Traci knows this is all cut-and-dried for him, but it isn't for her. This is not just some nameless, faceless person she would be saying no to. This is Victor, Ashley's husband, Abby's father, the father of their new baby niece. Ashley will trust her to make the right decision, whatever that is. An emotional Traci says there are families out there who have been waiting for months, praying that a heart would get there in time to save their loved one, and... no matter what she decide, someone gets another chance at life, and someone else dies. The decision is all on her. And she is 100% correct here

Victor weakly wanted to speak with him. Adam tells him, no farewell speeches. He is going to get a heart. Victor says maybe. Adam isn't giving up, Besides, he has to talk to him about something, and in his weakened condition, he can't stop him, so he is just going to have to listen for a minute. He has seen Ashley. Victor replies no, where is she? Adam thought that he knew that she had a baby. Victor asks, their daughter hope? Adam reveals that she was born last night. Ashley is fine and in the maternity ward. Victor asks, while he was in the O.R.? Adam says, not exactly. See, that's what he wanted to talk to him. When he was in the operating room, she kind of lost it. Victor says that Nikki told him, that Jack took her home. Adam reveals that that he didn't take her home. He saw an opportunity, and he jumped on it. He convinced Ashley to, check herself into a psychiatric hospital. And he tried to stop him. He did. But he rushed out of here so quick, he couldn't catch up, so he used his driver, and he followed him. He wanted to make sure he wasn't up to anything.
Bunch of bull there. Jack was looking after his sister, Adam was trying to save his own hide. Victor asks, commit her? Adam admits not against her will. He was there with Ashley, and made sure that her check-in was good, and stayed by her side, and she went into labor. It's safe to say that he has ever been in a situation like that before. He delivered the baby. Boy, what a piece of fiction here. He really made himself as a hero(gag) Victor is glad he was there. Adam just tried to do what, what he would have wanted him to do. Victor says, he'll be a good brother. What does she look like? Adam replies, she is cute, wrinkly, little hairier than he expected. He shows him the baby picture on his phone.

St. Mary's--Nick wishes he could have held her in his arms just once, so he could say good-bye. They never even got a chance to tell her that they loved her. Sharon states, they still can. he'd like to go to the woods near the cabin where they made love and scatter her ashes therewhich don't exist That was where Faith's life began, and she'd like to say good-bye to her there. She'd like him to be with her. We'll I got to say this. But that cabin is Jack's and that is a slap in the face to him, since she cheated on him there

Memorial--Victoria sighs, in the middle of all of this, TGVN has a new baby. Talk about supremely bad timing. Nikki think it's a good thing. Vicki wonders why Ashley hasn't come to see him? He doesn't even know about the baby. How could she keep that from him? Nikki has no idea. She don't know any details. Vicki wonders, what's going to happen with them? Nikki says, it's not up to them to speculate. Exactly Vicki says her talking to TGNN earlier. Nikki says, just as she said he would. And he told her that he loved her, and always has. Vicki asks, why does she sound like she doesn't believe him? Nikki says, it's just a shame that it took him being on his deathbed to realize it. Vicki says that the night she left town...Nikki doesn't want to talk about the future, about what might happen or what might not. Phyllis flies in, and Nick had informed her, she had come home They hug. A surprised Nikki says, they weren't expecting her. Vicki says, they would have sent the car. Phyllis tells her, worry about it. She didn't tell Nick she was coming home. She didn't think he was being straight with her about Victor's condition. Vicki says, he probably didn't want her to worry. Phyllis is sure, but didn't want to stay away knowing what he was going through, so, here she is. What's going on? And Summer is at Vicki house. Phyllis asks, where's Nick? Vicki says, he stepped out for a while. Phyllis is anxious to see him.

Traci gushes, she's just beautiful. Ashley wasn't sure, if she wanted to see her. Traci says of course, she would want to meet her daughter. In the midst of all this darkness and madnessThat is Y&R right now, sigh, it's exactly what she did need to see, this beautiful child who represents hope and possibility. She would be, if she wasn't ripped out of her mother's arms Ashley feels guilty! Traci assures that she would never resent her baby being born,- especially when she know how much it means to her. Ashley cries, thanks! Traci, also crying, tells the "oh, little one, your whole future ahead of you." She breaks down, wondering how does she go on without her daughter? She sobs, whether she donate Colleen's heart to Victor or to someone else, it doesn't change the fact that once she does decide, she goes to surgery, and her little girl will be gone forever. Poor Traci, I just want to hug her at that moment

Phyllis notes that Nick didn’t let her know that the situation was so dire. What are the chances of him getting a heart? Nikki replies, that Victor's on the national transplant list, which could take weeks or months. And Dr. Swift says he can only keep Victor alive on that pump for a few days. Vicki reveals, they may have found a private donor, though. Phyllis thinks that's good news. Vicki informs that Colleen's heart is medically compatible... Phyllis is stunned. Nikki adds, that Colleen had checked the organ donor box on her driver's license, but it is ultimately Traci's decision. Phyllis can't imagine what she's going through. She would understand if she said no. She doesn't know if she would be that generous. Vicki snaps, if that's the way she feel, then maybe she shouldn't be here right now. her dad needs support.What a witch!! What your way or the highway!STHU! Good for Phyllis for being still angry at Victor and showing compassion for Traci Kudos to Phyllis stating she knows and so does her husband, so she is staying.

Adam can't help thinking about Hope, and how hard it was to just sit there by her side and watch her fade away. And he can't let that happen to him. He refuses to let that happen. If he lose him, he will lose everything. Like his sick revenge plot Victor tells him, loss is part of life. Adam isn't ready to let him go, and he want to be a good son. Too late for that

Phyllis bluntly states she certainly doesn't want Victor to die, but let's not pretend like everything is okay here. Have they forgotten that her daughter almost lost her life? Nikki says, nobody has. They’re all very emotional. And doesn't want to argue about it right now. Phyllis doesn’t want to. Vicki tells her to stay away from her father. He doesn't need her negativity.Oh, STHU. What a bitch! Afterwards, Nikki understands how she feels. They all do. Phyllis knows, it's not the time or the place. Where'd she say Nick went? She is going to call him. Nikki then reveals, something happened to Sharon, and she was taken to St. Mary's hospital, and he's just checking on her. Phyllis isn't a happy camper

St. Mary's--Sharon tells Nick, that the doctor wants her to stay a while and recover. How's TGVN? Nick updates about his condition. Sharon asks, is it possible to find a match that quickly? Nick replies, he's on the national registry, but they may have found a private donor. Traci has agreed to let Colleen be tested to see if they're a match. A shocked Sharon knew that she was in the hospital after what happened at the lake,. Nick says, didn't make it. Sharon wants him to go back to memorial. He needs to be with Victor and her family. Nick replies, his mom will call him if anything happens. Sharon doesn't want him to worry about him? Nick asks, how can he not? He feels like he is drowningPoor choice of words. She must feel the same way. What can he do for her? How can he help?

Memorial Hospital--Abby notes if he and Colleen had stayed together and gotten married, he'd still be her brother-in-law. It's weird? JT chuckles, but she wouldn't have her nephew Reed.
Abby replies, true. The whole family thinks that she is too young to handle this. He is the only one who's straight with her. JT thinks they are just trying to be considerate. She is caught in the middle. Abby points out, so is she. He was one of Colleen's best friends. JT has known her since she was a freshman at Walnut Grove. Meanwhile Vicki is listening! Abby notes, there's something fundamentally wrong with the universe-- going from 2 dads to maybe none. And she has a new sister, but she'll never take Colleen's place. JT points out, she's not supposed to. She will be her own person. Abby just wants her sister back. JT heard hope in her voice when she said Traci might give Colleen's heart to Victor.
Abby can't lose anyone else. And in some really bizarre wayNo, it's creepy, she'd still be in her life. JT wants her to be prepared if- Abby knows, she doesn't have to tell her. She has had a front-row seat to the Abbott/Newman feud her entire life. She know exactly how her Mom's family feels about TGVN. JT knows, Victor is complicated, that's for sure. Abby says, that's putting it nicely. He should read the things that they say about him on the internet. He's done some pretty uncool thingsUncool things?? WTH??There were horrible things!, but he never meant to hurt Colleen Again, WTH?? He set up her to get her off the Newman board. Yes he did. He's got good in him, too. He's her Dad, and she doesn't want to lose him.

Billy asks, Give TGVN Ceecee's heart-- where's the justice in that? Absolutely none Jack admits for years he wanted TGVN to burn in hell. He means, burn for eternity. Things are different now. It isn't just the Abbotts against the Newmans. He does not want to be judge, jury and executioner for Abby's father and Ashley's husband. He doesn't want the burden. That's understandable, why he feels that way Billy states that's fine. He can give it to him. Jack points out that it's not his decision to make. It's Traci's. He can say, "do it." He can say, "don't do it." But ultimately, whatever she decides, she's going to live with that for the rest of her life. Exactly, Jack is very right here

Chapel-- A conflicted Traci asks, how is she ever going to forgive Victor for what he's done? Her voice breaks, she can't help hating him for dragging her beautiful, innocent daughter into his war against Jack. Colleen paid with her life, and she shouldn't have to make this decision.
What are the chances that Victor and Colleen were a perfect match? Is this a sign? "Do you want me to say yes? Or is Billy right? Is this just some cruel twist of fate?" She sarcastically chuckles if "you is testing me? My daughter was always so much better at forgiveness than I am. I will never understand how she could be friends with Kevin after that fire, how she could give her life to try to get help for the woman that was terrorizing her." Her voice breaks again. She says, if only TGVN had never brought Patty back to GC. She is so furious with him and can't even think straight. She sobs, "Oh. Colleen, what should I do?" Should I give your beautiful heart to Victor? Or should it go to someone who is so much more deserving? My vote is hereShe sobs again, what should she do? Phyllis sighs, So did Nick happen to tell her why he's at St. Mary's with Sharon? Nikki replies, just that she was she was rushed there. She assumed it had to do with the baby. A ticked Phyllis says, so let her get this straight-- Nick left his father's deathbed to be with Sharon while she had Jack's baby? Nikki says, Nick thought that there was a problem, and he didn't want her to be alone. A furious Phyllis says, of course he didn't. And, of course, she called her husband instead of the baby's father? Still insecure about Sharon, nothing has changed

St. Mary's--Sharon thanks him for checking in on her, but there's nothing here he can do. She wants him to go now. A stubborn Nick wants to help her. Why won't she let him? Sharon claims, he isn't her responsibility anymore. He has a family of his own to look after. He has a family with her too. Did she forget about Noah? Nick states, that doesn't mean that he will ever stop caring about her. Sharon bluntly, says there is nothing left for them. Their child is gone. They have to put aside any thought of what might have been. Nick wonders, how can she just switch off her feelings like this? Sharon knew that the dream that she had a few months ago was right, that the child that Cassie predicted would come into his life, it wasn't this baby. It was Summer, and the rest of it was just fantasy that died with this baby. Nick doesn't accept that. Sharon stresses, he has to. When she is ready to go to the cabin, she'll let him know. They'll say good-bye to her together. But after that, there's no looking back. He intended to be with Phyllis and Summer, and now his attention won't be divided. So be happy with his wife. Be a good father to his little girl. Be the husband and father that they deserve to have. Boy, she is playing the same game of pushing him away. When we know deep down, she wants to be with him

Memorial--Adam leaves Victor and Vicki sits by his side. Victor asks if she knew Ashley had the baby? Vicki heard and think that's wonderful. She can't wait to see her. Congratulations. She thinks, it might be a good omen, and he is going to be around to watch her grow up. Victor is realistic. Vicki says, they haven't heard from Traci either way, so no news is good news? Victor replies, whatever happens, he is prepared for the worst.

Traci tells Jack, that she has made her decision, but need his help. A supportive Jack replies, whatever she wants, she is here. She stresses, she needed him to tell TGVN. She just can't bring herself to face him. Jack nods.

Ashley tells the baby that she wishes she could promise her that everything was going to work out with her daddy, little girl-- that he was going to be here to see her grow up, be a part of her life. She does know that he'll always love her. No matter what happens, they and Abby are going to need each other, so they have to be strong. She has to be strong for him. Adam just wanted to check on her and the baby and if it's okay? Ashley replies, it's fine. His timing's perfect. There's something she want to talk to him about. She hopes he will understand. She changed her mind about what she want to name her. This little girl is going to have to have a lot of faith in her new life, so instead of calling her Hope, she want to call her daughter, Faith. Ouch.. Unbelievable, she picks the same name as Shick. But maybe it will make it easier for the writers when Sharon gets her child back(that better not drag out!)

St. Mary's--Sharon leaves her room and see a happy parents leaving the place with their child. She closes the door and falls to floor crying uncontrollably. Heart Wrenching scene. Poor Sharon, she doesn't deserve it. SC superb in this scene.

Memorial--in the Chapel, Nick finds Phyllis(thanks to Nikki) Phyllis missed him. Nick asks, why didn't she call and let him know he was coming home? Phyllis, didn't think that he'd want her to come back. She hugs him that she is here as Nick cries over his "loss".

Traci(with Steve) is holding Colleen's hand. She cries and just hopes she has made the decision that she would want. Poor Traci(sniff)I wouldn't want to be in her shoes

Nikki asks, if she has given him any idea of which way she's leaning? Billy has no idea, what she's going to choose. But if it were up to him,
Vicki dryly knows, what he would do. Billy states what he deserves. Abby pleases to Billy, don't. Jack walks by and ignores Nikki calling him. He glares at TGVN and tells him, he has his answer from Traci. He has no idea how she struggled with it. She sent him here to tell him because she couldn't bear the prospect of seeing him and telling him herself.

And I think we all know what her answer is, don't we. Ugh! Slap in the face to Colleen. Thanks YR writers. Grr.
