As rumored, Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) resurfaces as the patient being taken care of up in Maine or wherever out of town, and kept out of the public eye on David’s orders. Budig shoots scenes early on in December, when the show gets ready to move from NYC to L.A., closer to her home turf.
There’s nothing like a little humanitarianism to help a girl forget her worries. Bobbie Eakes (Krystal) got welcome perspective when she participated in NYC’s Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction the other week. Learning that AMC would move from NYC to L.A. was a shock to the system for Eakes, as well as the rest of her cast mates. But she told We Love Soaps’ Damon L. Jacobs October 6th that she’s focusing on the positives of the move; namely, AMC is still on the air, considering GL just got canned. Once AMC’s bi-coastal move’s done, she’s also hoping for more on-screen face time with a favorite actress, Susan Lucci (Erica). Eakes said she enjoyed doing those comedic, friendship scenes with Lucci so much. In another topic entirely, her husband’s new TV series, Sordid Lives, has been tangled up in some legal issues, but they haven’t dampened fans’ interest.
Recently, JR Martinez (Brot), Deidre Hall (ex-Marlena, DOOL) and Dr. Phil McGraw supported Iraq Star 2009’s “A Night of Honour” to benefit surgeries and rehabilitation efforts for returning soldier veterans.
With Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) coming back to AMC and talk of others coming back – on the strength of the show’s move to L.A. – We Love Soaps’ Damon L. Jacobs inquired of the same with Cady McClain (ex-Dixie; Rosanna, ATWT) for his October 5th update. While she jokingly talked about avoiding pancakes after her AMC character fell to her death from peanut butter-banana pancakes, she said she wouldn’t mind reprising Dixie now and again. She did make it sound like she’d be up for recurring spots, as opposed to a lengthy contract tenure. All they gotta do, those PTB, is ask.

Plenty of fans and critics are bitching that AMC gets the save but OLTL won’t. They can’t believe substandard AMC under hack Pratt rules over a creatively superior OLTL. They’re really not going to like the latest rumor of AMC stealing the OLTL hit gay couple, Kish, beforehand.
