The reason Farah Fath (Gigi) and John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex) look so hot together, is because they’re really together, on- and off-screen, according to the latest Soap Opera Digest, July 8th.
Robin Strasser (Dorian), Brittany Underwood (Langston) and Jason Tam (Markko) provided their voices in a book reading and signing for author Chris Van Etten. Etten’s newly-released young adult novel is entitled, “Likely Story,” and chronicles the adventures of Mallory, daughter of a soap celebrity, who finds herself sudden writing her own soap opera. The OLTL actors were at Borders-Time Warner Center, New York City, on June 26, along with Van Etten.
Chris Stack (Michael) had to bring his own suit from home to the ATWT studios two years ago when he appeared in a brief part as a coroner. The thing is, Stack owned only the best, so there he was on-screen in his fine Italian suit, talking blood and gore at the scene of the scripted crime, looking a little too fancy. “My mom watched [the scene] and she was like, ‘It was a really unique character choice.’ I was like, ‘I wish that much thought went into it.’” –Soap Opera Digest, July 1, 2008

Creator Agnes Nixon said she sought to explore diversity in OLTL, and for awhile, she succeeded. But look at this show now. Diversity is but a memory, as one by one, the black folks disappear or are relegated as props for the white majority. Welcome to ABC Daytime, circa 2008.
Dewanda Wise (Julianna) may turn out to be Vincent’s girlfriend on the side. She’ll show up only to take him out of Llanview.
Singer/songwriter/actress Adrianne Leon (ex-Brook Lynn, GH; ex-Colleen, Y&R) may take over as Sarah, because TPTB desired a known daytime entity over newcomer Justis Bolding.
