Steve Burton (Dylan) gave Michael Fairman a lengthy interview July 28 about his considerable time on Y&R, his blessed clause allowing him plenty of family time back on home base in Nashville, and his co-stars, in the aftermath of Avery’s harrowing storyline exit. But he did say something that seemed to go against his GH stories as Jason while loving on his Y&R pairings with Avery and Sharon. “He has a great relationship with Sharon right now, and Dylan loves her. But I do want to say what has been unique, and this is one thing I never got to play as an actor … I never had to play that I had feelings for two women at the same time. That is a very interesting dynamic for me, because that is so not what I was used to before.” What, are Sam and Elizabeth chopped liver? Or, as Jeff Giles of Pop Dose tweeted back, “I never had to play that I had feelings.”
Sean Carrigan (Stitch) does standup August 16, 7 p.m., at the new HaHa Comedy Club in Hollywood.
Gossip for the week of 03-Aug-2015
Sage is supposedly connected to another established character in Genoa City, according to rumors. What if that character’s Chelsea? Celebrity Dirty Laundry wants to know.
Who drugs his own son, then hires hookers to have sex with that son before his wedding day? Neil “The Thirst Is Real” Winters. SoapView on Twitter was one of many disgusted fans who made their feelings clear about Neil’s “rape” revenge on Devon and Hilary: “5 rapes in 6 months. And Ron’s the ‘hack?’ #YR #GH [July 30].” Other spot-on tweets: “There have been four rapes on #YR this year. Someone needs to sit Pratt down and ask ‘What is it with you and rape?!’ [Alan Sarapa, July 29]”… “Slap in #Hevon fans faces. Instead of the wedding being all about them, it becomes about Neil and his sick revenge. #YR [Cher M, July 30].”
As far as Neil’s portrayer Kristoff St. John is concerned, it’s all about perspective. He went on Twitter July 31 to calm angry fans down: “To the doubters/critics of Neil’s uncharacteristic revenge. Darkness overtakes us all, it’s a matter of how long it takes to see the light” … “You’re married, an accident leaves you blind. You discover that your spouse has been sleeping with your child for a year. What would you do?” Not that, Neil.
