Gina Tognoni (Phyllis) launched a new shoe line called SOLE9. But SOLE9 isn’t just a regular shoe line from her family’s shoe business. It’s the actress’s way of giving back to the community by calling attention to domestic violence and the organization doing something to help abused women. Tognoni and the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) are working together for SOLE9’s “Style That Gives Back,” available in her online shoe store. With this launch, Tognoni issued an announcement that included these heartfelt words: “I decided I wanted to start a collection that mattered and would provide an immediate impact on women in need throughout our country by developing a line of shoes as vibrant as the women who wear them. … A portion of the profits from our shoes is used directly to put LOVE INTO ACTION. SOLE9 is committed to helping the many beautiful women in need right here in the USA. I believe it’s so important to live a GRATEFUL life every day, to share a positive and generous HEART ATTITUDE.” SoapHub’s Carol Boorom has the update.
Robert Adamson (Noah) and Linsey Godfrey (Caroline, B&B) will not be getting married after all. They ended their engagement recently, but have a daughter named Aleda, 1, to love nevertheless. Soap Opera Digest broke this news last week.
Stacy Haiduk (Patty Williams) returns to wreak havoc on-screen by September. She will start filming this coming week. The certifiably insane sister of Paul Williams went back to the looney bin and off the show in 2012. –Soap Opera Digest online, August 3, 2015

Stacy Haiduk’s (Patty) not the only villainess coming back, if you read between the lines of Kimberlin Brown’s (ex-Sheila) Instagram post, August 5. Brown is currently promoting her e-boutique — a kind of Chico’s for women — where she models various clothes and features clunky jewelry.
