Lindsay and Jen are trapped in the "rubber room" where Troy has taken them both. Nobody knows where they are. But people are becoming suspicious of Troy McIver. Even Natalie remembers Christian informing her that he saw Dr. McIver acting "unprofessionally" around women at the hospital, and that he specifically noticed Troy going into the "medication room" and looking very suspicious. Already Nora and Bo are beginning to piece things together.
Vicky Davidson, who is newly appointed President of Llanview University, has discovered a very cowardly, narrow-minded Dean at the University. After discovering that after Marcie hung a peace-sign out her window, somebody vandalized it and trashed her dorm-room, Vickie wants to encourage Marcie and other students to press charges and not be afraid to exercise their right to free speech. But the Dean is afraid to cause more contraversy.
Rex goes and talks to Rae Cummings in a futile attempt to convince her that he loves his wife, Jen Rappaport, and is deeply hurt by her cheating on him. But Rae sees right through his "facade" and knows it's only a "tactic" that his lawyer advises him to pull off in an attempt to drag out the divorce and get Jen's money.
Troy advises the "hired dude" at the institution where Lindsay and Jen are held, that he must do something to "subdue" them so that he and Troy won't get in trouble. So the guy gives a dangerous "psycho-killer" the keys to their room. But right at the same time, Joey Buchanan runs into a colleague who says he saw Jen Rappaport at the institution. Joey goes there and asks to see Jen. We can only wonder whether he gets there before the psycho kills Lindsay and Jen.
