One Life to Live Update for Tuesday, 9-Sep-2003

The guy who everyone believes is Walker Laurence, but who is really Todd Manning, goes to meet with the real Walker Laurence, who’s personality, hair-style and wardrobe is different, although played by the same actor. The real Walker threatens to kill the “assumed-Walker” who is really Todd. Until “Todd” assures him that it would not benefit him. When assumed-Walker/Todd leaves, Blair walks in to confront the real Walker who she believes is the man she’s gotten to know, only with slicked back hair and strange behavior, who, however probably knows nothing about her nor his “body-double’s” relationship with her. He fills her with lots of baffling attitudes that upset her. Then, later the man she recognizes as the same person, but who is Todd goes to apologize to her and reassure her that he wants to make things work with her.

Kevin and Kelly are afraid of Dawes’ threats to derail Kevin’s election, and are both able to tell that Dawes had something to do with the chandelier almost falling on Kelly. Still Kelly wants to get pregnant. Dorian, however, urges David to see if he can somehow prevent Kelly from getting pregnant, since Dorian is very afraid that Kelly could die.

Dawes “presents” the pictures of Kevin “getting it on” with Blair, to Asa. Asa goes to confront Kevin about it. Kevin gets angry at Asa and tells him to mind his own business, although he realizes it could ruin his career if the pictures ever fell into the wrong hands. Later, after Kevin falls asleep, Kelly gets up, goes into the living room, and picks up the envelope with the “incriminating pictures” which could ruin their marriage. But in perfect timing, before she has a chance to pull out the pictures, Kevin wakes up, goes into the living room, and is able to tear them up before she has a chance to see them.
