Sorry this took so long. Both my kids were sick, and going online was the last thing I could do. My memory is a little fuzzy and my notes a little scattered, so I will do the best I can.
One thing I see written over and over again is "Kamar thinks he's in a telenovela". Telenovela are Spanish soap operas, and for those of you who think Antonio is massively overacted, I invite you to tune into one. Those actors make the actor who plays Antonio look Keanu Reeves on a sedative. But I digress....
As far as Antonio, he has been very chummy with Sonia, especially since discovering that she is a Federal Agent who can help him get in contact with El Tiburon. Antonio rejects Carlotta (should she be sorry that she didn't let him become an infant target???) and then enters Adrianna. Adrianna warns him that he is overreacting (Gasp...no! Not Antonio) and that their parents did what they did to give them a normal life. Antonio confides in her that even given normal circumstances, he felt compelled to pursue a life of crime during his gang stint. Perhaps the blood of El Toro actually rose in his veins? He then warns Adrianna to be careful of Tico and then who enters...........
Tico and Antonio have a brief exchange and then Tico talks with Adrianna. He warns Adrianna that he believes Antonio has become unhinged, and that he murdered Angelina. Adrianna has a hard time believing that. Then, Tico brings up the subject of Duke, and guess who enters.............
Duke enters and the sparks fly between him and Adrianna, much to Tico's delight. Duke offers to take Adrianna on a picnic at the Quarry. Adrianna, remembering what happened with her and River, rejects the idea at first - then agrees. Little did Duke know that he would also have Addie in tow, but he gets along well with her. Shannon and Rex have a tussel with Adrianna at the Quarry - meanwhile Addie wanders off and sees Asa in the ditch. She thinks he's a monster and tells the two young couples so. As usual, no one pays attention to Addie. Adrianna, Duke, and Addie go on their way, and Shannon and Rex stay at the Quarry for their little tryst. They hear Asa, and Rex offers to help him for a fee (Obviously Rex's Boy Scout troop was run by Tony Soprano).
Somewhere in the episode John and Beau are talking about Sonia. It seems a contact of John's got relocated when they inquired about her. So, the two crack detectives figure out that she must be with the Feds. Later, John threatens Sonia with general misery if anything happens to Antonio while he is working with her. Someone should inform John that he is definitely losing the "My Badge is Bigger than Yours" game with this lady. His threat is a little late, since SOnia and Antonio have already put into play a plan to smoke out El Tiburon, using the fact that Antonio would have been El Toro (Manuel Santi's) true heir to the crime dynasty. If the parties involved felt that Manuelito was going to claim what was his, El Tiburon would be compelled to act. It seems like the plan is working, since they receive a call to meet with Benicio to discuss "things".
