When Jessica is ready to tell Antonio about Tess, she hears Tess threaten her not to, reminding her that she almost killed Viki and she will do much worse to Antonio. So she concludes that she needs to go away somwheher where nobody can contact her and where Tess will not be able to hurt anybody. She asks Todd to help her, knowing that he is the only person who knows about Tess. They check her into a place where she is under the care of Dr. Jameson.

Renee is able to discover that Asa is threatening Blair's life when he says that he's not afraid to return to Llanview and somehow know that Blair will not "be able" to testify against him. But after it's too late, Carlo Hester has broken into Blair's and Todd's home, disconnected her phone lines and is ready to kill her.
