One Life to Live Update for Friday, 24-Jun-2005

Jessica checks herself into St. Ann's. Natalie notices Todd getting Jessica's possessions out of her home and asks why. He doesn't answer and doesn't tell her what has happened to Jessica except that she decided she had to get away.

Carlo Hesser gets into Blair's home, tries to kill her and really scares her until Bo and the cops come. They arrest him and he admits that Asa put him up to it. Meanwhile, on the jet from Argentina to Llanview, Renee asks Asa what is up. He swears on his life that he did not arrange to have Blair killed.

David picks up Dorian at the airport. She is happy to be back and wants to go with him to the Woman of the Year Ceremony. But he has a problem knowing his brother will be there as Kelly's date and doesn't want Dorian to see Spencer there. Kevin takes Evangeline to the ceremony but clearly has his mind on Kelly being there with Spencer. Evangeline's mom encourages her to condider Kevin instead of John. She tells her daughter that Kevin is handsomer, richer, more ambitious and deserving of Evangeline. But Evangeline wants her mother to mind her own business.

Rex encourages Natalie to manipulate John into "rescuing" her again. But she doesn't want to play the manipulation game any more.

Marcie is the "mistress" of ceremonies, makes the announcements and makes a tribute to Jen Rappaport. Yes, I miss Jen Rappaport. She was played by a good actress and all. I'm glad Colson got nailed for murdering her. But I DOUBT Jen would ever get the "woman of the year" award.
