One Life to Live Update for Tuesday, 28-Jun-2005

At the Woman Of the Year ceremony, right before Evangeline accepts her award, some idiot grabs her and takes her somewhere. She's lying somewhere unconscious. SHe later wakes up. Nobody has a clue where she went.. Her mother blames John, of course. Marcie blames herself, worried that it's the killing club murderer. But she later figures out with the help of Michael that it probably wouldn't have anything to do with that. John suspects Hayes Barber. But he probably didn't do it. SLeazeball though Hayes is, it makes sense that he could not be the murderer. He'd have to be making himself a lot scarcer than he's been if he really did kill those guys and not making himself so visible at Evangelines ceremony if he took her. John asks a drunken Roxie what she knows about Evangeline. WIth her plan to get John to give up on Evangeline and hook up with her daughter, Roxie tells him (lying) that she saw Evangeline skip out with another guy.

Todd asks Blair why she dropped the charges against Asa. At first she does not tell him. He tells her if Asa is threatening or blackmailing her, he'll get him. SHe says it's nothing like that. Blair tells Todd she will tell him about her secret deal with Asa if Todd promises not to kill Asa. He finally agrees. ANd she tells Todd that Asa told her if she dropped the charges against him, he'd find Margaret for her. Todd tells her that he was going to get Margaret. But she tells him she's worried about her husband going to prison. SHe tells him she does not want to lose him again, does not want to spend a life without him and knows she could not go on without him.

Viki tells Antonio about Jessica going away, assuming he already knew. She doesn't know what to say. She reveals to him that only Todd knows where her daughter is.

When Jessica is in her room at St. Anne's sleeping, Tess comes out. SHe is able to all but corner Tess in asking her why she does what she does and calls her predictable. For the first time, it looks like Tess is getting scared that Jessica might get rid of her. But Tess manages to get the nun's cell phone and call Ginger, asking her to break her out of there.

RJ goes back to that guy, Jackie and tries to find a way to get Capricorn back. Jackie reminds him he's doing illegal business. But he tells Jackie that he needs to do whatever is needed in order to get his club back. ANd it's all for his daughter.

It looks like the psycho killer also got Natalie. Rex goes to meet her by the docs after their "plan" for John to save her. But he's a little worried that she's nowhere to be found. Rex tells Bo he's worried about Natalie missing. Bo tells Rex he knows about his and Natalie's scam with John. But Rex tells him that he really is worried that Natalie has not arrived. They conclude that the same person who took Evangeline took Natalie.

WHen Evangeline comes to, she discovers Natalie unconscious in a hay loft.
