One Life to Live Update for Thursday, 21-Jul-2005

Dorian is by the pool. She gets on the phone and calls Blair to come by with her swimming suit. At first Blair says she's busy but decides to come. Dorian then calls Dr. Spencer Truman and gets him to adjust his schedule to come. It's obvious what she is up to. David overhears her and asks what is up.

Marcie wakes up from her hangover. SHe shuts off the alarm clock and looks like she does not feel great. She staggers to her dresser and plays her message from John. He's left her more than one message telling her she must return his call because it's very important. She also notices a note from a "mysterious" person named Hugh whom she does not remember. He tells her she must call John McBain and tells her not to worry about the shoes. Looks like she's had a total blackout, having no recollection of meeting Hugh and throwing up on his shoes the night before.

After Evangeline has slept in John's office, realizing she cannot stay at her home, she awakens. She says she must return home. He tells her he cannot let her go back. She tells him that she would not be any safer in her home than in a hotel. He suggests that she stays with him.

Where Natalie is being kept, that slimeball, Hayes Barber calls a meeting. Natalies is tied and gagged. He tells his "board members" what his agenda is with Natalie Vega.

David finds out that Dorian has invited Spencer and Blair to come by. At first she bluffs about it being a "business" meeting. But he seems to know that she wants to have Blair in a bikini to "lure" SPencer. She tells him that if anybody is going to open up about what happened at the country club, it will be Blair. David asks her what about KElly. Kelly appears and asks what about her.

Adriana goes to meet with Duke and discovers that he's forgotten that he'd planned to have lunch with her and cannot make it. He tells her that after it's over, he can be with her.

At the coffee shop, Rex gets on the phone to attempt to find Natalie. Michael McBain appears and asks if he's found any more info on Natalie. Rex asks Michael what he wants. Michael reminds Rex that he should have known that Marcie had too much last night, since he is a nightclub owner. Rex says he did not notice Marcie having very much booze and she had her own good samaritan looking after her.

Marcie goes to the police station to see John and runs into Hugh. But she has no recollection of ever having met him before.

Evangeline tells John that she knows it drives him crazy that he cannot prevent bad things from happening to people he cares about. But she tells him she's using every precaution. John meets with Marcie and informs her that he talked to her old high school friend, the priest, father Scott. He tells her that he has a solid alibi but told him that she kept track of a journal from the "losers' list". He asks her to take a good look and show him the face of their killer. marcie tells John that she does not remember a lot of the kids from the killing club. He asks her if she remembers anybody with wierd behaviors or animal abuse or something. SHe tells him she remembers a very wierd kid who had some fettish with disecting frogs. John gets on the phone to obtain some high school year books. John tells Marcie that Michael told him he saw her and she was very drunk. She apparently doesn't remember that.

After Rex informs Michael that Hugh was a "good samaritan" to Marcie, Michael tells Rex he's a little concerned about Marcie being with a total stranger in the condition she was in last night. Hugh appears and tells John that everything was ok. He then goes and sees Nora. But she has blurry vision. Rex notices Adriana. She admits that Duke does not have any time for her. She has some "competition" for his attention. ANd it's not another girl.

Kelly comes by to see Dorian and know that her aunt has some sort of plan. Dorian, again, bluffs that David suggested that Kelly should be their wedding planner. Dr. Spencer Truman appears. Kelly asks why he's there. Dorian tells her that they have some hospital business to discuss. Right then, Blair enters, surprised to see Dr. Spencer Truman. Blair gets into her bikini and Spencer seems to be eyeing her. David remarks to him that he two different "bikinis" (meaning Kelly and Blair). And he asks his brother what's in this for him. David tells Spencer if he hurts either one of them, he will be sorry. He tells Dorian that she cannot encourage Spencer with his "intentions" involving Blair. Dorian says it would be fine with her if Spencer can get Blair away from Todd. David tells Dorian she should be a little concerned about how Spencer is "dating" Kelly when he really has the hots for Blair. Dorian tells David that it means he has good taste to be interested in both of her nieces.

Nora introduces Hugh to Evangeline. Evangeline confirms that she knows the new Assistant District Attorney. Hugh leaves the two women alone and Evangeline informs Nora that John asked her to move in with him until the killing club murders can be solved.

Marcie tells John that she remembers a very wierd guy named Ivan Potter and suspects that he might be the killer. John enters Ivan's name into the computer.

Meanwhile, Hayes Barber tells somebody that they must tend to the imprisoned Natalie while he takes care of "other unfinished business".

At the pool, Spencer departs and tells Kelly that he plans to have dinner with her the previous night. Blair hears that and remembers Kevin telling her that he needs Kelly back in his life. She asks Kelly if she might not be moving too fast with SPencer because she barely knows him. ANd she says she knows that Kelly is really in love with Kevin. Kelly tells Blair she knows what is going on. Dorian wants to peddle Spencer to her. She sounds like she does not want her cousin "taking" Spencer from her. Kelly leaves to get ready for her date with Spencer. Blair gets on the phone, calls Kevin, tells him what is going on and that if he wants her help in getting Kelly back, he needs to make efforts to get her back.

Adriana confides in Rex about her disappointment involving Duke. She gets up to leave and he encourages her to call him and not give up on her "dream".

After hearing Evangeline tell her that John offered to let her stay in his home, Nora asks Evangeline if she was tempted. Evangeline admits that she cannot go through any more of this with John so she will decline to stay with him. Evangeline notices that Nora appears dizzy and urges her to see a doctor. Nora says she will if Evangeline will call her if she needs anything and not go looking for help where she will only find trouble.

After Marcie leave his office, John looks at the picture of Ivan Potter. He looks like a real geek.

Adriana comes by Duke's office. But again, he is too busy with work. He promises to make it up to her. His phone rings. He seems to be too engrossed in business. Adriana looks very disappointed. She looks at Rex's business card that he gave her. ANd it looks like she might call him and forget about Duke.

marcie admits to Hugh that she knows she got really drunk last night. She reflects taht she remembers meeting with Hayes Barber. Some guys were rude to her and then some really "cute guy" came to her defense. She then, remembers he was that one. But when she remembers throwing up on his shoes, she is too embarrassed to talk to him and walks out the door.

John calls Nora and asks if she can help him dig up some records. SHe's at the hospital and gets up to leave to return to the office and help John. Michael McBain goes to talk to Dr. Spencer Truman. Spencer does not seem to remember him but informs Michael taht he might have him take the job of another doctor whom he's about to get rid of. Michael tells Spencer that he might consider forensics since he's worked with his cop brother. Spencer finds out for the first time that John McBain is Michael's brother and looks like he wants to give Michael a job. ANd it looks like he might have some ulterior motive.

Blair and David reveal to Dorian that they believe that Kelly should get back with Kevin. Blair also confirms to Dorian that she blieves that Todd is her own soulmate.

Kevin goes into Kelly's home while she's in the shower, knowing she's ready to go out with Spencer.

John gets some records about Ivan Potter going to a plastic surgery clinic.

Marcie returns and gives Hugh some new shoes. He tells her that maybe they can have dinner some time. She tells him that could get compolicated in figuring out who needs to pay whom back. She then runs into Hayes. She reveals to him that John may know who the murderer is. Hearing that, Hayes is shocked and knows he needs to do something.
