Kevin and Kelly wake up in bed and admit that they feel just like when they were newly weds and miss each other. But she reminds him they are divorced and asks him what his plans are. He tells her they cannot get ahead of themselves and need to just enjoy the moment.

Bo warns John about getting too obsessed about the case. He tells him he shouldn't quit but needs to take a break and it's not a request. They are able to uncover that Ivan Potter, the nutcase from Marcie's school with the problem involving disecting frogs, who got the plastic surgery to assume another identity, is Hayes Barber. John says he knows that Hayes Barber is the killer.

Marcie runs into that new ADA,Hugh Hughes, who she met the night she was drunk. He seems to like her and tells her he likes the new shoes she bought for him much more than the ones she ruined by throwing up upon. He seems happy to see her. She tells him that she doesn't want to burden him with her problems since they barely know each other. But she's thinking of a guy named Rex Balson. She admits that most of the time they cannot stand each other. But they've been close to many of the same people. She seems to have a premonition that Rex is in danger. ANd sure enough, psycho-boy, Hayes Barber has choroformed Rex and he's passed out.

Dr. Spencer Truman informs Michael McBain that a guy had an accident and went off Llantano Mountain on a motorcycle and needs a liver transplant. ANd surprisingly, he asks Michael to assist him. Lindsay Rappaport also approaches him about a friend of hers who needs a liver transplant. Dr. Truman assures Lindsay he can help her friend. And Michael tells her she's in good hands with the doctor.

Marcie tells Hugh about her recent argument with Rex. She admits that she's concerned about Rex, having lost Jen, her best friend and the love of his life. And now his sister, Natalie is missing. Hugh suggests that Marcie calls Rex and has dinner with him (Hugh). SHe admits to Hugh that she does ot get him. WHen they first met at Ultra Violet, he had a beautiful model on his arm. And he talked to her and helped her when she was a total idiot, totally drunk, and threw up on his shoes.

Evangeline's sister, Layla, is very disappointed at her sister for giving her a ticket back to L.A. She asks Evangeline why she was always favored by their family and everybody told her she was less than Evangeline. Evangeline asks Layla to shut up and tells her it's not about her. There's a serial killer that is stalking her. She does not want to put Layla in danger by having her stay in her home with her.

Dr. Spencer Truman and Michael are in the O.R. and the attending physician wants to do everything his way. Michael is a little suspicious. But Spencer tells him there's nothing they can do because that other doctor is in charge.

When Marcie is talking to Hugh, Hayes approaches her. She wants to blow him off and be alone with Hayes. He acts like he wants to be her friend and feels rejected by her.

Evangeline tells Layla that she needs to realize that a serial killer has targetted her. The same one who knocked her out, kidnapped her, tied her up and tried to burn her at the stake. Layla seems to think this is a movie. She says she will kick their ass with karate. But Evangeline urges her to see that this is not a joke. Layla only seems to believe that Evangeline is using this "killer" thing to look down her nose upon her sister. Evangeline tells her sister that she is scared to death for Natalie, for John, for herself and now for Layla. She admits she is freaking out. And she tells Layla she is making it worse. She says she cannot live with herself if Layla stays and the killer gets her too. Layla agrees to leave but tells Evangeline she will take her with her.

Bo tells John that they have no solid evidence that Hayes Barber is the kller. All they know is that Barber got plastic surgery and knew Marcie from high school and reconnected with her to publish her book. That doesn't confirm that he's a killer. John says regardless, he's going to find Hayes in order to keep him away from Natalie.

While Marcie is having lunch with Hugh,Hayes tells her he needs for her to sign some papers and accept her award for her book. She tells him she's busy having lunch with Hugh. But Hugh tells her he does not want to prevent her from accepting her fame as an author. Marcie waits for Hayes in the car while he goes and talks to Evangeline. When he approaches her, she is NOT friendly to him. SHe does NOT want to talk to him. Having no clue that he tried to kill her, she still seems to know that this guy is a creep.

Kevin tells Kelly that he doesn't care how it happened. It's just that it happened. She asks what it all means. He says it means an incredible afternoon for two people who used to love each other and maybe still do. He tells her she should not question it. She says she does not want to. He tells her he must be honest before she hears it from Blair or Dorian or anybody. He admits that he did not just come there today. Blair called him and warned him that he might lose Kelly to Spencer. Hearing that, she seems surprised and not pleasantly so.

That doctor who is in charge at the O.R. will not accept that the patient is dying. But spencer tells him he must let it go and realize he fought the good fight.

Layla tells Evangeline that she has always been there for her to help her out of embarrassments throughout her life, when Evangeline was the big success story. She tells Evangeline that she needs her. She has to go with her to L.A. Evangeline tells Layla she is not listening to her. She cannot abandon the people she cares about in Llanview. And she cannot let Layla stay there with her. That killer is following her around. She cannot go to her office or her home. And she needs Layla to go away.

Bo says he is very certain that Barber is the killer and he will put out an APB and get the judge to issue an arrest. Bo says he will do that and hopes it's not too late for Natalie.

Marcie agrees to let Hayes into her home. He talks about how cool it will be for her to face all the popular kids from high school. She'll get to rub their noses in her success and it will be her sweet revenge. She tells him she's not interested in getting revenge. He, then asks her why she never liked him. Having no clue who he really is, she asks him what he's talking about. He tells her she used to really judge him and treat him like a loser when he disected the frogs in high school. She asks him what he's talking about. He asks her why she thinks he wanted, so desperately, to be her agent. Was it because she wrote some brilliant novel? He is devastated that she ignored that fat freak in high school. She is shocked to hear him talk like this. He reminds her that she avoided him whenever he'd pass by her locker and asks what it was about him that was never good enough to be part of her killing club. He talks again about the frog disecting and she concludes that he is Ivan. He confirms that that is who he is.

Spencer tells the chief doctor that even if they could save this patient, he'd have severe brain damage and no cognitive function for the rest of his life. ANd waht kind of life would that be. The doctor then decides to call the time of death. Alone with Spencer, Michael tells him he did the right thing.

Kelly angrily asks Kevin if his whole plan to barge into her shower and seduce her is just because Blair called him. It was nothing more than an attempt to stake his claim and mark his territory. he asks her why it matters and didn't she want it also? She says she did until she knew what was behind it. He asks what's wrong with what he did. SHe says she does not like the fact that he's only interested in her if somebody else likes her.

John calls Evangeline and asks if she's seen Barber. Evangeline says she believes that Barber left with Marcie.

Barber admits to Marcie that he was not even good enough to be part of the club that accepted teh geeks and freaks and losers. And she did not believe he was even good enough for her. He asks why she rejected him when she was no prom queen or little miss popularity. He tells her she and all her sick friends thought they were too good for him. She tells him they were not sick. He was sick. She knew there was something really wrong with him. He reminds her that he didn't look good enough until he had the plastic surgery. She reminds him that he had this obsession about her having gastro-bypass surgery so she'd fit into smaller clothes. Right then, the phone rings. Marcie is ready to answer it. But he tells her if she does, then Natalie Vega dies. She then hesitates to pick it up.

Lindsay finds out the Dr. Spencer Truman found a liver match for her friend. She is very grateful and tells him it's like a miracle since her friend has been waiting for months. SHe tells him that this is crucial to her because she cannot lose another person again. She then finds Michael and tells him he's right that everything about Spencer is amazing. Michael finds Dr. truman and asks if he could observe a liver transplant. Spencer tells Michael he cannot let Michael observe. Hearing that, Michael assumes that Spencer believes he is "unworthy" of such a thing. But Spencer tells Michael he'd like to have him assist.

After Evangeline gets off the phone with John and finds out that Hayes Barber has gone off with Marcie, Layla thinks it's really "cool" that Evangeline can "get her man back". Evangeline tells her that John was calling her about something very serious and asks her why everything is make believe to her. Layla, again, tells Evangeline that she's so independent and sure of herself. Evangeline admits that she is not. Layla says, in that case, Evangeline must let her sister help her.

Hayes Barber tells Marcie that the Ivan Potters of the world need nurturing, tended to like a garden. Childhood provides the seed and schooling provides the fertilizer. ANd it causes losers like him to respond with rage and lash out. She apologizes and admits that she was pretty messed up herself, in high school and asks what he wants from her. She asks what they need to do to save Natalie. He asks why she'd be concerned about Natalie. He knows she does not care for Natalie but Michael might care for her. He tells her that if he had a chance to "eliminate" a rival for his lover's affection, he'd go for it. She tells him she is not him. He tells her that if he leaves and she call the cops, then Natalie and many others will die. But if she comes with him, then he might not kill them. She asks how she can know for certain that if she comes with him, that those people will not die. He tells her she does not have any guarantee. And that's what makes it fun. All she knows is that if she refuses to come with him, Natalie and all the others are sure to die. If she agrees to come with him, they may or may not. SHe then agrees to go with him. But she cries and she's very upset.

Spencer calls Kelly on her cell phone to cancel their "date" after he's been scheduled to do the liver transplant, having no clue that she just got it on with Kevin. When she gets off the phone, she tells Kevin that the only reason he's interested in her is because somebody else is. If that is no longer a factor, she means nothing to him. He tells her that she's been trying, for a long time to use Spencer just to make him jealous and this is just another excuse to distance herself from him and there's nothing he can do about it. He leaves, angrily.

John, Bo and uniform cops go to Marcie's but find that she is gone. John is certain that Barber took her somewhere.

He takes her to the mysterious place. HE blindfolds her. She begs him not to go through with this. She tells him she will get him some help and she's very panicked by what he is doing. He, then, removes her blindfold and introduces her to the big group of people he has in that room. He announces that the Killing Club is now complete.
