One Life to Live Update for Wednesday, 24-Aug-2005

Rex goes to see Adriana at the diner. She is really happy to know that Natalie is ok. She hugs him. Right then, Duke walks in and does not look happy.

Kelly walks into Dorian’s kitchen and notices her aunt cooking. She asks who this strange person is who looks like her aunt Dorian, knowing it’s not like Dorian to cook. David comes in and explains to Kelly that he knows the reason Dorian is cooking is because of Spencer.

Spencer comes to see Blair and ask if Starr is ok. Blair explains that Starr thought she saw Margaret Cochran in Todd’s office. But she tells him that Todd thinks it might just be her imagination. Again, Spencer remembers Todd telling him that Margaret stabbed him and he got her pregnant. He says nothing except to tell Blair that it sounds so unlike Starr to have false delusions since Starr seems to him to be a very level headed young lady.

Right then, Antonio follows Jessica/Tess to Nash’s apartment in New York. He stands outside the door unseen by them and unable to see them.

David show Doran and Kelly several “exhibits” to prove that Spencer is showing Dorian how to cook gourmet meals. He asks if she was “hot tubbing” with his brother last night. She says of course not. She just had tea with him. He told her he was a world-class chef and offered to give her some tips. She then tells Kelly that perhaps Spencer could give her some tips also. David tells her she needs to accept the fact that Kelly has dropped Spencer on his “cordon bleu” ass. She tells him she’s fine with that as long as Kelly never gets back with Kevin. Kelly tells her aunt that she plans to get back with Kevin. Dorian asks her niece how she could forgive a man who has done the things that Kevin has done to her. Kelly tells Dorian that Kevin now knows that she was not responsible for selling out his company and is no longer accusing her of corporate espionage.

Todd enters to hear Blair and Spencer talking about Starr’s “delusion” of seeing Margaret. He clearly indicates to them that he does not want anybody to believe that Margaret is really there. Starr protests and gets Blair and Spencer to believe that she really did she that freak in her dad’s office. But Todd wants them to believe she did not see her.

Nash is ready to put his plans into motion for going to California and start his wine business. He reminds her that she stole his car. He almost broke his fist on her uncle. Then he followed her all the way to Llanview. But he indicates that he does like her and wants to trust her. Meanwhile, Antonio is right outside the door. They’re getting it on while Antonio pounds on the door. And wouldn’t you know? Nash does not answer his own door. Or maybe Antonio got the wrong apartment. But anyway, we knows they’re going to let the viewers hang in suspense a little longer and not have him walk in on them. A man across the hallway answers the door. Antonio shows him a picture of Jessica and asks if he’s seen her. The man reveals to Antonio that he could not be able to see anybody because he is blind. Antonio says he is sorry but this is urgent and asks if anybody else might have seen a young blond woman. Inside the apartment, Tess and Nash are really moving along.

Duke tells Adriana that maybe they can take their weekend together, as they’d previously planned. And wouldn’t you know? Now it is she who is making excuses not to see him. Kevin enters and tells him that he plans to get back with Kelly. Duke is ok with that.

After David reveals that he knows who sold her out to B.E., Kelly asks who it is. David then tells her that he really doesn’t know who specifically did it. She assumes it might have been any random person and it doesn’t matter because Kevin admitted he’d been acting like a jerk. She leaves and Dorian tells Kevin that Kelly has taken leave of her senses to consider seeing Kevin again. He tells her there’s nothing she or Spencer or anybody can do about it. Dorian asks David why, knowing his brother did the dirty deed, and especially when he hates him so much, why didn’t he tell Kelly? He comes up with some answer about how “secrets” are very powerful.

Starr explains to Blair, Todd and Spencer that she knows she saw Margaret but admits she had a nightmare that scared her and she realized that she did assume that the security guard was Margaret. Blair explains to her daughter that she too has had nightmares and falsely believed that other people were Margaret. And that may be what is happening to Starr. Todd concludes that he will never let Margaret or anybody hurt his daughter. He then goes and walks Spencer out the door and tells him he can end all the “house calls”. Spencer tells Todd that he could still tell Blair his secret. When Spencer leaves, Todd gets on the phone to call Asa and tells him they have some “loose ends” to tie up.

Margaret is alone telling her baby that Todd must not fight her. They are meant to be together for the rest of their lives. She talks as if the baby asked her about “daddy’s other family”. And she tells the baby that that does not matter.

Blair indicates that she believes Starr is just “seeing” Margaret the same way she did when Margaret was not there. But Starr knows she’s seen her. Right then, Dorian enters and the security guard believes he must follow her up the stairs. She wonders why Todd has so many security guards. Blair tells Dorian that Starr is getting delusions about Margaret. Dorian asks if she is sure that Margaret is not there. Blair says she is sure. Asa knows where she is. And Todd searched all over for her. Dorian tells her niece that trusting Asa Buchanan is a foolish thing to do. And trusting Todd Manning will get you killed.

Todd tells Asa that he must remember their deal that Blair will file charges against him for what he did to her unless he tells them where Margaret is.

Tess gets on the phone, “plays Jessica” calls her family, telling them she loves them and will be home as soon as she can. Then she hangs up and says she knows she will never see them again. Right then Antonio pounds on the door and announces he is there. He says, behind the door, still unseen and unable to see anybody, that he is worried about finding his fiancé. The blind man across the hall tells Antonio that he will not find her in that place since the fellow that lived there left town. SO, once again, Antonio is being misled. He then gets a call from Evangeline. She reminds him he is scheduled to see Jamie later and realizes he has to get back to Llanview. Right then, Tess is ready to turn back into Jessica and grabs the “wanted” picture that Antonio has put under the door. But when Nash comes back, she crumples it up and tells him everything is ok.

David talks to Spencer privately asking what he wants and reminding him that he is a sociopath. Spencer tells David that he knows that Dorian is his friend and does not distrust him. David then tells Spencer that he will have to postpone his wedding until he can set Dorian straight about his brother. Right then, Kelly enters to interrupt their conversation. Spencer tells her he is ok with her having to break it off and there are no hard feelings and reminds her they will be family soon. He tells her there might be two wedding for Kramer women. She tells him she doesn’t plan to get into anything too quick with Kevin. He tells her, knowing David is listening, that it’s good not to jump into anything when you don’t know what to expect.

Asa tells Todd he better get off the phone. He threatens to tell Blair the story about the “bun in the oven”. Hearing that, Todd drops the phone. Asa leaves and Todd calls his contact demanding that they get over there right now and bring anything they could have dug up on Margaret Cochran.

Blair admits to Dorian that she has had so many fears about Margaret. She was living in constant fear of her everywhere she went and everything she did. And she now realizes that she never really saw Margaret and she cannot live this one. For one thing, she needs to be strong for her children. Dorian tells Blair that she does not know that Margaret is not still out there somewhere and must realize that maybe Todd is keeping something from her. Blair does not want to hear that. Dorian leaves and Starr asks her mother why she doesn’t want it to be true that Margaret is back. She tells her mother it will not make her stronger to live in denial that she could still be around. IT will only make Margaret stronger.

Todd goes to his office and sees the obvious proof that Margaret was there, with the message on his screen saver that says: “Todd and Margaret and Baby make three”. He then calls his security team and demands they find her and get her.

Adriana reveals that she kind of has a dilemma bout whether she has feelings for Duke or for Rex.

Tess and Nash are at the bus station headed for California. And wouldn’t you know that Antonio is right outside the door. But can he see them or not?

Rex indicates to Adriana that he does not believe he could love again after losing Jen. SHe tells him she believed the same thing with River. And she proved herself wrong by finding Duke. He tells her she got lucky. She says it had nothing to do with luck. SHe just opened herself up to new possibilities, tells him he mustn't want to be alone forever and maybe he should consider new possibilities for him.

Spencer tells Kelly that he has a new fertility procedure that might work for him. SHe tells him she doesn't want to get her hopes up. Right then, Dorian and David interrupt them. David wants him to get out and Dorian is all friendly.

Antonio looks as though he just misses Tess with Nash and has to get back to see Jamie.

Todd tells his security officers that they gotta hustle and find Margaret.

Right then, it seems as though Margaret's water is breaking.

Blair comes to see Todd, tells him they need to talk. She knows that Starr is right that Margaret is here and he is hiding something.
