One Life to Live Update for Monday, 29-Aug-2005

Let me begin by saying that this is the first time I've ever written an update, so bear with me as I venture into this!

Well, today on OLTL, Capricorn was a hot spot. We started off with Evangeline, who was sitting alone daydreaming about John and Natalie together. She was soon joined by Michael, and after a brief discussion about her feelings for John she left to get a drink. Michael then spots Marcie, who shares a look with him before Hugh shows up and takes her to a table.

Meanwhile, at John's apartment, he is brooding, alone as usual, when Natalie unexpectedly shows up at his door. They begin to discuss their potential relationship. She tells him how she has been given a second chance at life, and she intends to live it. She tells him that the past cannot be changed, and the only real regret is not living when you have the chance. She rambles until John finally tells her to shut up, and pulls her into a passionate kiss. They end up in bed, when John tells her he can't make love to her, because he has a secret she needs to know.

At Llanfair, Viki agonizes over whether or not to travel to London. She wants to be there for Natalie, but Kevin and Kelly convince her that Natalie will be fine, and she should take her trip to see the heart specialist. After Kevin and Kelly leave, Antonio drops by to see her. She voices her concerns about Jessica, and hears a message from her, saying that she is fine, just needs to work through some things. The message and Antonio's kind words convince Viki that she can go onto London. Antonio wishes her a safe trip and goes to see Bo at the police station. He tells Bo that Jess is missing, and explains to Bo Jessica's DID situation. He tells him about her alter ego, Tess. They realize that Jess could be in danger and set up a plan to find her.

Meanwhile, Todd tracks Margaret to the hotel, and tells her that he will never love her or accept their baby. He tells her that the baby is a product of 2 rapists, and will never be anything but evil. Margaret tell him that she will disappear forever if he took the baby home to raise him. Todd was horrified at the suggestion and told Margaret that if she did not disappear forever, he would have to kill her. Convinced that Todd would never hurt her, she called his bluff, and Todd began to strangle her.

At the same hotel, a very happy Kevin and Kelly (the only happy couple in Llanview at the moment)arrived in their room for a lovely evening. They hear yelling and screaming from down the hall. Eventually Kevin goes to check it out, and catches Todd strangling Margaret.

Back at Capricorn, Evangeline is sitting at the bar, chatting with Layla, when Michael joins them. He introduces himself to Layla as John's brother, but nothing like him. Evangeline steps away, and Layla tells Michael that her sister is such an amazing woman, and she couldn't understand why John would dump her for a chick like Natalie. Michael defends Natalie, and they agree to disagree. Evangeline returns and Michael invites her to join him at Rodi's. She accepts, saying that as long as they don't bump into John and Natalie, they'll have a great time.
