One Life to Live Update for Friday, 30-May-2008

Starr testified against Todd, saying how violent Todd was at Virginia Beach against Cole and herself. Afterwards, Blair stood up and asked for permission to speak. After saying what she had to say, Blair took her seat. Judge Walters announced that Sam would be placed in foster care, but Judy offered for Michael and Marcie to temporarily parent Sam until he was placed in a permenent foster home. Judge Walters refused for what transpired whenever Marcie went on the run. Markko told Judge Walters about Langston being placed in the foster care system last year until Dorian became her legal guardian, but Judge Walters remained loyal to his ruling. Blair then stood up, and shared with Judge Walters her experience growing up in foster care, and offered to become Sam's guardian. After Marcie walked out of the courtroom upon hearing Blair say that Sam called her Mama, Judge Walters agreed to allow Blair to become Sam's guardian. After flipping out several times, Todd accused Blair of wanting to keep him from all of his children.

While all of this was going on, Starr walked out of the courtroom, with Cole right behind. Starr snapped at Cole, but quickly apologized before wandering off for some alone time.

In the ladies' room, Marcie hit the floor in tears after what went on in the courtroom. Michael entered the room, and comforted Marcie. Marcie told Michael that she tried to not get her hopes up, but couldn't help it. Michael told Marcie that they may be able to one day adopt again, but Marcie told Michael that it wouldn't be the same. Michael assured Marcie that she was a good mother, but she disagreed after reminding Michael that she can't carry a child to term. On their way out, Marcie felt sorry for what Todd has put Starr through. Once they were gone, and emotional Starr appeared from behind the corner.

Natalie arrived at Nash and Jessica's cottage to drop off Bree's birthday present. Jess shared the news with Natalie that she was pregnant, but swore Natalie to secrecy until she could tell Nash. Meanwhile, Nash met with Malcolm at the diner, where Malcolm told Nash that his vineyard was being turned into a shopping mall. Nash told Malcolm that that was violating their contract terms, but Malcolm had every right. An eavesdropping Jared came to their table, and made a business deal with Malcolm, which would allow Nash to keep the vineyard. After Malcolm left, Jessica and Natalie arrived. Nash chose not to tell Jess about what just happened so as to not ruin Bree's birthday.

David pulled Addie into a kiss, but pulled away and went downstairs, where Viki and Dorian were continuing with their argument. Viki received the wrong impression that David and Dorian were back together, and had a good laugh. After Viki left, David questioned Dorian as to why she was hiding Charlie in her bedroom. Dorian denied what David accused her of, but soon caught on that David wasn't quite sure of what he was talking about. They went into the living room, where Charlie's cell phone began to ring. David told Dorian to answer her "other" cell phone, but she wouldn't with David in the room, but he noticed Viki's name on the phone. After Dorian handled the situation and walked away, Addie walked into the room, and quickly put her arms around David, kissing him. Once David escaped, Addie added him to her list of things to do.

Dorian returned to her bedroom, where she poured alcohol down Charlie's throat.
