Marty repeatedly asks Todd how they know one another. Todd tells Marty that they've known one another since college, but left the rape out of it. Janet (the private nurse) brings Marty the picture of John and her. After Todd demands that Janet fix him a drink while she prepares Marty's meal, Marty asks Todd who the man in the picture is. Todd tells Marty that he is John McBain, later convincing her that he is a bad man who left her to die.
Learning that Cole broke into the mausoleum at the cemetery, John comes by to get him to leave before he is arrested. Cole tells John about Starr wanting to give their baby up for adoption, leading into talk about Marty and Patrick.
Starr comes to Marcie and Michael's, revealing to Marcie that she is pregnant, and that she wants Marcie and Michael to adopt her baby. Marcie tells Starr that after what happened with Tommy/Sam, they could never adopt again, but Starr assures Marcie that legally, no one can stop them from adopting her baby if it is who Starr chooses. After raising her voice a few times about Starr lying to Marcie about Todd abusing Sam, Marcie tells Starr that there are other good people out there who would adopt the baby, basically telling Starr no. Starr leaves.
Meanwhile, out of town on a school trip, friends of the teens continually ask Langston why Starr and Cole didn't come. Keeping her mouth shut causes the other teens to come to the conclusion that something is going on. Markko comes up with the excuse that Starr and Cole are secretly seeing one another, and leaves it at that.
On Monday's OLTL: Clint tells Jessica that the charges against Jared have been dropped.
