pay too much attention to him last go ‘round unless it involved Liz, lol. So I recognize that maybe I could be wrong. Yet, today and Jason’s gentle “I didn’t mean to startle you” to Dante was a prime example of what I mean by a softer demeanor and tone. So is it just me ?

And if not… is it SBu switching it up or SBu simply executing *this* writing ? I hope it’s the writing bc it would be a different angle for the character (thus, the show)
