She is right, since Kristina's egg was used, legally she will be the baby's mother -- unless/until a legal adoption takes place.

It doesn't matter how great Kristina is, Molly (who like being in control now has no control. I understand Molly being scared and feeling inadequate. This is about feeling, not logic.
