if the actress wants to leave because she has an opportunity for other work she wants to do ... then I will support her.

But for selfish purposes I hope she stays. Sometimes she's loveable, sometimes evil, but this is the soap and Ava has the most important trait for a soap character -- she's INTERESTING! And much of that interest is due to Maura's talent in playing her.
