Bryan Craig returns as Morgan Corinthos. I had a feeling it was him. Now this is interesting. The article was updated shortly after I posted. They added "one episode." That was not in there before. I am certain because I was on a work call and couldn't post until it was over.
I am going to guess that Sonny sees him either in a manic episode, near death experience, or dream.
