Get rid of all of thee above instead. Not even because I'm a Sam fan, I never have been, but just because the cast is bloated and cutting it down would tighten up story telling. I'd toss in the likes of Geo and Dex and Joss too. Send them off the college. Do we need JaggerJohn? Nope. Natalia? I can't wait to see the last of her. Blaze is gone so why is her mom even needed? She's not. Go away, lady.
I'd get rid of Sam wayyyy before even considering getting rid of Ava. Personally, I'm no fan of Sam for the most part. I don't hate her either, she's just there. I would certainly co-sign getting rid of Cody, Sasha, Drew, Lois, Nina though.
I have never agreed with you more. Maura West is an absolute treasure. That woman's range includes: menacing, treacherous, vulnerable, comedic and sultry. So many times she has taken crap and turned it into gold. Ava Jerome is iconic. Maura oozes talent.
