Called Diane she was panicking because she said she didn't want Kristina to violate her bail. On a side note, they should be confiscating her phone and look at who she called that night.

At least that's my take. Cates had just been murdered while Alexis was looking for Kristina. She then found the gun when she came home and went out to get rid of it. That's how I saw it anyway. This things happened pretty close together. And unless someone on scene called her to tell her, she didn't know.
