Sonny tried to compare the Lucky/Luke bond with Aiden/Lucky but Luke was actually around for Lucky, knew Lucky, and supported Lucky. As imperfect as he was, he was still mostly present.

There's no foundation for that kind of relationship with Aiden and Lucky.
