be honest--this writing regime is allergic to logic. The whodunnit murder mystery was laid out for them like a connect the dots kid game! Cates was wreaking havoc and there was no shortage on enemies. It could have been suspenseful.
Nah! That's not the road they chose. They believe in Sonny's popularity to much that they had him announce his intentions and then shoot an unarmed man. Once standing and then while he was laying there dying--he shot him again. Nothing Cates did warranted that from Sonny. "You came it me through my children. That was a mistake and it ends now!" And then, relying on his hubris, he has embarked on this "I did what I had to do and don't regret it" bull crap. And his loved ones are falling all over themselves to help/defend him. It's truly disgusting.
The milking that would have occurred from a whodunnit would have been par from a much better course.
