We all know both Nina and Willow are convinced (though they know he has his flaws) that he can do great things and help people as an elected official. Ned and Tracy (since they are smarter than the rest) see that Drew can be of benefit to the Qs in his new position.
I also see his basically double crossing Curtis (or his desire to... Mikey might turn him down) but regardless... I think the CEO position at Aurora... The way Politician Drew can help the Q's and other... and other factors are going to muddy up this whole situation in bizarre ways that make it impossible to predict what would happen otherwise.
