Jason inserting himself into a situation that has nothing to do with him. Taking it to the level of violence. Shining example for his teen sons. Someone hurts a person you love--beat their @ss. It's archaic and barbaric.

Ned's attempt to blackmail Drew was awful but not on the same level as what Jason does today. Both things are wrong though--so we have that common ground.
