timing was terrible. I don't think this was just about Molly's birthday. Ric and Molly talk on a regular basis. That was established when he showed up for the baby's funeral. It's not hard to surmise that Molly has shared with her father that Alexis favors Kristina. Not because she doesn't love Molly--she does but per Alexis' own lips to Molly "You've always been independent. I didn't have to worry about you because you knew how to take care of yourself. Krustina needed me more." Molly's response to Alexis stuck with me. She basically agreed with Alexis but said she still wanted attention from her mom as well. Nothing wrong with that. I think that is very human. Alexis clearly didn't give Molly equal focus that Krustina received. This writing regime seems to have ramped up the animosity. I don't remember it being this bad before Ric left town. In fact, Alexis was concerned when Ric was stabbed at Windemere I think. At the time, he had started a flirtation with Skye. Alexis turned to her and suggested that she comfort Ric. I mean, didn't she get past him sleeping with her daughter? I don't remember her divorcing him after that, but maybe she did.
Did anyone else find it strange that Dante, nor Oliva are dressed for the funeral? Nina, Drew and the kids are dressed and ready to head over. Maxie clearly got their early to make sure everything was in order. Why isn't Dante dressed?
I'm tired of Lucky. He can go. I mean, I knew his extended stay would mean he'd leave again, but his attitude about the whole thing is so off-putting. It's like he's afraid to be a father, but why? Luke had his faults but he was a good father. Lucky knows what to do and not do. This fear makes no sense.
Last but not least. I just don't understand Lucas and I'm sick of his pity party. He's a doctor. Why isn't he waiting for the results of the autopsy? It should reveal a lot, but nah--he's going on and on at nauseum about killing his sister. Who the hell cares that she insisted? He should have said no and Terry and Portia should not have allowed it.
Really Drew? You ran into a door. That was stoopid.
