All of this brouhaha over Sam's will seems moot to me. I'm no lawyer

nor do I play one on TV--well, because I'm not on TV. 😋 Sam's wishes in her will are simply that--what she WISHED to have happen. She wants her children to stay together, whomever becomes their primary caregiver. The fact that both bio dads are alive and have their parental rights--should supersede the wishes of deceased parent. Of course, Drew and Jason could agree to let them stay with Alexis, Dante or at the Q mansion. But they are under no legal obligation to do so. Alexis, Drew, Dante or Super Jase would need to battle it out in court if they reach an impasse. Sam had 3 years to update that will. I don't think she forgot to do so. We will see if Diane pulls out a new will abracadabra.

I also forgot to mention in my OG post--it's noble of Jason wanting to talk to Danny to see what he wants, but he's 15. Sure, get his input so that he has a voice and the same with Scout but ultimately, the adults need to decide and that includes swallowing your pride and making a sacrifice regarding what's best for the children. And I by no means think that if Danny were to tell Jason that if staying with Drew means he would not be separated from Scout--that Jason would comply. Hell would freeze over first. But what if Danny were to say--I wanna live with grandma Alexis. Will Jason allow that because Drew is certainly against giving up his daughter. Hate the guy all you want. Call him a douche, smug but he's not mobster or a lifetime criminal. He is now an elected congressman. I don't even think his affair with Willow would tank him in a custody battle. He's allowed a personal life--as messy as it is. If Jason enters into a custody battle for Danny--I could see him losing based on his chosen lifestyle. Jason or Sonny would have to bribe or threaten the judge to win.

Man, Bobbie's brownstone would sure come in handy right about meow! The kids could see each other every single day and Drew and Jason would have their own living space. Looks like the last time it was shown was 2014. It's where Nina forced Ava into labor and Avery was born. [link]
