they hired Cody for the Mac Scorpio being his father storyline and then when John J York got ill so that story was put on hold and Cody just languished. It was good for the character when he started working for Tracey and I liked his scenes with James, but the character has been all over the map and not really landed anywhere. At this point, I simply don't care about the character. Nothing against the actor, but I just don't care.
TJ on the other hand is a blank slate. There may have been a good storyline getting him and Molly together, but I wasn't watching back then. Since I started watching again in 2019 TJ has mostly been an extra in some hospital scenes and occasional scenes with Molly.
As I mentioned early, I saw a GH photo with the actor playing TJ with someone else with an interesting grin on his face and I realized I'd never seen TJ having fun, having friends, or being anything other than an extra.
I was intrigued by the personality I saw in that photo and would love to see TJ having a storyline that allowed him to play a variety of scenes with a variety of characters and occasionally show joy.
